Portions could be a little smaller and refined for price range. Loved the vibe and authenticity of some of the French dishes.
Very good restaurant! Food was excellent. I had a great convo with Mat who works there. He was very knowledgeable and a skilled worker. Good job Mat! I would recommend this place to a friend for their good food and staff!
Loved the Paris vibe, the delicious food and wine and the lovely server. I’ll be back!
An old ship going down. Service is just not there, one young guy doing everything while the owner shuffles about, no mask, playing on his computer and yelling orders. The French onion soup was ok, radioactively hot.The cassoulet, the reason I came was a bowl of beans. None of the taste of melted pork fat/rind. The meats that should have been simmering in the cassoulet for 3+hours were sitting on top. Just grilled. I ate 1/2 and left the lamb chop gristle and meat. No one asked any questions.Creme brulee was great. $80 for lunch. I don't think so.
An Elderly Owner, past his prime, wandering from the kitchen to the seating area, with their mask around their neck, eating a handheld sandwich. 1 overworked staff doing everything while the owner played with his computer. I went there because of past remembrances of a Cassoulet, ten+ years ago. I ordered a sparkling water, a French Onion soup and a cassoulet. After the waiter breaking the glass we were off to a rocky start. The soup was radioactive hot, not just really hot, but blistering so when I touched the bowl I was transported to hell. Sort of average, three slices of baguette with cheese on them though is a nice touch. Now the feature act. The cassoulet came with 2 tiny sausages and a lamb chop sitting on top. The “pork” and beans were lacking in mouth feel from the pork? If any. The three meats should have been melting in the cassoulet for at least 3 hours! Not laying on a bed of beans. The chop and sausages just came off a grill a few seconds before. The chop was gristle and fat that was inedible and should have melted away in the cooking process. It didn’t. I ate the soup and sent back half of the cassoulet, no questions were asked. I ordered a Creme Brulee, finally my memory was acquitted. $ 80 later. No I will not go again.
Amazing onion soup, lackluster everything else. The fries were heavy with oil, possibly fried twice, yet still dried out. The steak was a decent cut, but I expected better flavour. The ratatouille ravioli was uninspired, lacking any real depth.Server was excellent.Would give it a second shot, but would try different entres. 3.5 stars.
Nice food, pleasant ambiance, small dinning area.Very attentive staff, prices on the high side. Definitely a unique experience, one must try their cuisine.
Very expensive food, nice little place, will not visit again, just because it's simply expensive
The lamb was so soft it was like cutting a marshmallow.
Not sure what is wrong with this restaurant. Their website states that they are open for lunch from Tuesday to Friday from 11 to 5. I made a reservation for today at 12:30 and it was confirmed. But when we drove the considerable distance involved for both of us, we found that the restaurant was not open for lunch. What has happened to customer service? The restaurant will not enjoy our custom forthwith nor will they have any positive reviews from me or my guest. I emailed the restaurant when we arrived at their closed door, and the person who confirmed my reservation blamed staff. No compensation nor consideration was offered for the inconvenience we suffered.
