Very expensive for the amount of food you actually get plus the food was not very good. Quite disappointed as this place used to be good. Will never order from here again. If you do want to order from this place then make sure to ask for white rice as it doesn't come included. A large soup is actually a medium so don't waste your money getting it.
My hubby and I just moved to the neighborhood and we were craving soup, so despite some not great reviews, we gave this place a shot. So happy we did! The hot and sour soup, sizzling rice and wor wonton soup were all really high quality. Generous portions and delicious! So happy with this find. Thanks Fancy Taste of China- you are in fact, fancy.
Spent $80 for super salty, super greasy, and cold food. I can maybe forgive the cold food by knowing we had a skip the dishes order, but the others were just so bad!!! I could have bought a pizza slice for $8 and still be more satisfied. Waste of time and money.
I recently ordered the dinner for one combo from their menu. Although the ginger beef and spring roll were delicious, the vegetables were really salty and so was the fried rice. Also, I waited almost 2 hours for my order which wasn’t fun especially when you’re already starving.
Ordered food from this place through Skip the Dishes before and the food was not great - salty, greasy and take out containers not full. Decided to give them another shot and ordered take out again. Ordered 3 items and when we got our food, one item was missing. Ordered the food at 4:30 pm (well before the dinner rush) so there is no excuse for missing items. Very disappointing. We’re done with this place.
The food tasted amazing! 10 out of 10 highly recommend! Service is very good on the phone. wait time was reasonable!
I had order from uber eats and when I arrived. The food was not ready. Completely I understand cause of holiday eve. All of restaurant is busy. But I was waiting over a hour to get customer food. There were over 8 deliver peoples were waiting. How can be not explain to driver what happened they are keep saying I don't know I don'tknow. And if they can not control delivery order. they had to turn off uber skip door dash. This restaurant even though not busy was taken over 30 min to get food. What is wrong?!!!
Asked to change ginger beef to sweet and sour pork (most places allow this as they are the same price and have done it before with online ordering for this place) and the man tried to say $6 extra , I said I'll order else where and he said okay fine $4 and I said no I'll order somewhere else then said ok ok fine. I get there and he is showing me step by step how to tip like I don't know how. then he's hovering over me all close to see what I am inputting. This was a year ago but I see my comment is gone. I absolutely would not recommend due to the unprofessionalism and mediocre food.
As mentioned in one of the previous reviews, their wait time to pick up orders is unacceptable. Sure, they’re busier than usual during the holidays, but they are managing it very poorly. When I walked into the restaurant, it was already full of people waiting to pick up their orders. Some of them had been waiting for an hour.
Decided to try this place for the first time tonight. Waited over 2 hours (I understand it’s New Years Eve and restaurants are busy so I didn’t mind). What I did mind was after 2 hours 20 mins of waiting my order was cancelled with no explanation. So now I am scrambling to find food at 8:30pm on NYE. Will never try this place again.
