Ordered from here randomly as it was nearby and really enjoyed it! Got some large cheese pizzas and mini donuts and the teen age girls LOVED it all. There was tons of cheese and the crust was cooked perfectly. The tomato sauce was fantastic. They strive for perfection too. The oven had cooked our pizzas weirdly and they wouldn’t even serve them to me and needed to redo them. They discounted 10% to account the extra time I had to wait. Would come back here if I was in the area!
Not only is their pizza amazing, their customer service is equally as good.I didn't think to get their name unfortunately, but a very friendly person called after my last order to give me some info that would save me a few bucks. That's awesome. I don't actually need the few dollars but someone that is ordering as a treat just might. So I really appreciated the extra effort. Whoever you were, great job!But honestly, as someone who grew up and loved more traditional style pizza, Estoria's food really is fantastic.Alright, heads up delivery peeps ...
Hands down the BEST pizza ever! So fresh and crisp! The unique sauce makes it feel like I'm eating pizza from the gods! (None of this boring mass produced stuff). And it's always still hot even when it comes from Skip the Dishes! (I'm over 10km away). Even the crust is amazing! And I used to only eat pizza crust if it was smothered in ranch.. which I do not need at all with Estoria pizza (though dipping the crust in their super fresh tasting tzatziki dip is heavenly!).Also, their Baklava is superb!Definitely recommend this place for your pizza cravings!
Got a take out yesterday from here. I had 2 pizzas (1small and 1 medium), poutine and fries. They were so busy even on a Wednesday evening at 5.45pm, that we waited in the car for 25 minutes with great expectations. Food is pricey for a take out place. They have a unique recipe for pizza but it is definitely not for me. I am an authentic Italian pizza lover and this place is not that. I ordered cheese pizza and a vegetarian pizza, thinking I would eat Margherita and Verdure Grigliate pizzas; But I was so wrong!! I could eat only half a slice from both. It felt like I was eating Pineapple pizza. :-( (yes, something was sweet and of course it was unexpected) I ate only the fries. My son is a poutine lover but he didn't like the sauce and neither did I. Unfortunately, we had to throw away most of the food except the fries.They should consider including the traditional margherita pizza and Canadian poutine in the menu. My toddler who generally lives for fries didn't eat these ones. Couldn't guess the reason.
We ordered from here for the first time and we are impressed. It's a thicker crust with the crispy cheese on top. The sauce is different but it suited our tastes well. The toppings were great quality. It's a bit more on the pricey side but i was filled up after 2 slices rather than the typical 4 or 5 from the cheaper places. Will definitely be ordering again!
Ordered from here through skip the dishes. It took over an hour to arrive and when it did arrive the food was all cold and soggy! Especially the chicken tenders and fries. I had to recook them. (You can see in the pictures)Not only that, but the pizza tastes good but $17 for the size in the picture is far too much.I won't be ordering from here again sadly.
Ordered for the first time tonight and was absolutely delicious. I see a lot of comments on here talking about the flavour of the sauce. Yes they have their own unique approach but the flavour is specifically designed to suit this style of pizza. If you are used to eating the mass produced garbage sauce that you get from any of the big pizza chains out there I'm not surprised this was a shock for your taste buds. My advice to you is to start learning to cook, experiment with flavour and develop your pallet. Your inadequacy to appreciate well made food from a local business is not this pizzerias fault. Will 100% be ordering again.
Ordered a 14” beef and mushroom today. I noticed a lot of talk about the sauce here and yes it is a bit different but I thought it tasted great with the pizza. It’s a very slight sweetness and overall the sauce tastes fresh and light. The toppings were good and the crust is just great. I’m a dipper and this pizza is perfect for dipping. On my top 5 list of calgary pizza parlours for sure.
Amazing pizza! It was the first time we tried Estoria pizza and we will definitely be back. Very generous cheese and toppings. They made a mistake on our delivery and noticed it themselves… They called to let us know and had our correct order to us within minutes of the call. Excellent customer service! Thank you ❤️
Based on the reviews and my experience, this place is very much a “ you love it” or “you hate it” pizza joint. This comes down to their sauce, I’m usually fine with sweet flavours but it did not pair well on the pizza. It seems like the pizza got sweeter with every bite and left me with a disgusting after taste. I’ll be throwing the rest in the garbage and ordering from somewhere else next time. The search continues…….
