I thought I’d give this place another chance And boy was I disappointed. The lunch special consisted of a whole bunch of vegetables with a scarce amount of undercooked Ginger beef. I’m not sure if this place is a victim of Covid or just poor management don’t waste your time or money inhere.3.5 stars and dropping fast.
I felt like everything was prepared and kept warm. When ordering our order was ready in what felt like minutes. For how much we paid I would have liked it cooked to order.Ample parking.Didn’t use washrooms.Ok cleanly wise when we went in and picked up food.
If I could, I would give this place ZERO stars. The salt and pepper squid was extremely dry and tough, I surprised I didn't chip a tooth. The Shanghai style fried noodles smelled and tasted rancid.I called the restaurant to let them know and they started arguing with us stating that "this is the way it's supposed to taste". I've eaten at Chinese restaurants my whole life and have never tasted something this horrid.I drove all the way back for a refund and the woman continued to argue with me. She must've known the squid was bad because she refunded it no problem but refused to acknowledge the rancid noodles.Times are tough and I want to support local businesses by ordering pickup directly from the restaurants but this is one place I would NEVER recommend.Save your money and go somewhere else.
chicken fried rice and ginger beef was really good! the salt and pepper squid though is a bit over cook, hard and should have add more flavor, but the rest taste good.
Ordered take out from this place for the third time, food and service was excellent. The portion sizes were really good and filled to the top as it should be. The food was packaged neatly without any leaks or spills.Will continue to order from here again.Thank you
I ordered food from their with a friend and most of the order was dry and hard/chewy and not very saucy. I did enjoy one of the things purchase but other than that I re-cooked heated most of my food and added sauce for a better taste.
Had $15 off with uber eats but they don't work with our usual place. This was the closest Chinese place to pick up from, so we tried it out and it was great!Everything was perfect and the portions were huge. We're definitely going to make this our usual spot.
I don't like the run of the mill Chinese. I really enjoyed this. It was tasty and portions were really good. I want to go again! Service was excellent! The Empress Chicken was the best.
Our delivery order took forever, everything we ordered was cooked beyond recognition. They must have scooped it from the buffet and tossed it in a deep fryer. Never again!
Good. A little salty. But fast and good price.
