The service was incredible!! That is what helped our experience.However the dining room is incredibly dark. I even saw people using flash lights. As well the food was good, but portion sizes are lacking. A 22$ salad should not have rotten pieces in it... and the Bigger Better Bigger is quite small. We're not big eaters either.
We had to grab a meal before heading to the airport, so the staff were more than nice to accommodate us with fast service. Also, the salmon I had was heavenly good! I’d stop by whenever I’m Calgary again.
Came for lunch and the service was good but food was below expectations. I got the steak and sushi; the steak had a lot of fat around it so it was chewy and the sushi rolls were just okay. This meal is much better at Joey’s next door to be honest.Our table was also in a very dark corner which wasn’t great for atmosphere but overall the restaurant is nice.
Went for lunch today with my wife and daughter.We just made the Brunch Happy Hour by a few minutes, unplanned, but happy we did.My wife had the Caesar and thoroughly enjoyed it.She then had the prawn omelette and said it was delicious. I had an im letter too and it was very good!Both came with a salad which was a surprise, but delicious.
WOW has management changed over here and it doesn’t seem like it’s for the better. I was in earlier this week for dinner and heard multiple servers saying the exact same thing to everyone, apparently the watermelon drink is getting great reviews by customers, my waitress said that to every table. We did meet one of the managers can’t remember her name, she was okay but did seem very passive aggressive. This place is started to seem robotic. Sad to see this is the “standard” managers are holding the employees to do better Earls.
The service was on point. They didn’t rush us to complete our meal and gave us all the time we needed. The staff was extremely kind and interactive with all guests. Our server, Jade, went above and beyond to make our evening so much more memorable.
The Cajun chicken burger was very burnt and the calamari was soaked in oil and the batter was very thick. The spinach dip and tacos were great but some pieces of bread for the dip were drenched in olive oil. Not as good quality compare to previous visits earlier this year.
Wonderful lunch at Earl's and Tuesdays are the best for 1/2 price bottles of wine. Our server, Michelle, was exceptional - knowledgeable on all the food and gives great recommendations. Would like to see more Canadian wines and sad to learn they are not keeping Tinhorn Creek on the menu...otherwise, love this location!
