The place looks always great and food is delicious. Wait time for two was very reasonable 10min on Saturday morning. Bigger groups were told about 1/2 hr+The downside though kitchen is not efficient at all. Even though restaurant was not full (table fir two empty next to us the whole time) you wait fir food fir 40minutes! That's a lot fir breakfast. Service didn't stop once during the wait either. So very basic experience.
If you enjoy waiting and slow service, THIS is the place for you!!We arrived at 1pm, knowing there would be about a 30 minute wait. We were fine with that and I appreciated their buzzer system but everything went downhill when we finally got a table.When we finally got sat, it took about 15 minutes just to be greeted by our server and offered water. Then another 10 minutes to get our drink orders. After finally getting our drinks, it was another 30 minutes at least until the server came back and get our food order. We waited another half hour for our food. In between, we had to ask for a coffee refill from another staff member and another round of drinks because our server was no where to be found.I get that it was busy when we came in, but by the time we got our food, we were one of the last tables and it felt like the server couldn’t care less about us because they aren’t trying to flip the tables at that point, seeing as they close at 3. The food was ok but not great, definitely did not justify the wait time and bad service. Being in the industry myself, I really appreciate good service and effort, and this was NOT it.
We came here with my father-in-law and daughter this Sunday. The food was pretty good but the service was just terrible. Our server never checked on us, had to ask for coffee three times which finally came with the bill, and was just not friendly at all. We were there at 0800 and we understand things speed up with the breakfast crowd coming in but there was no care to attend to our table at all even when the place was half empty. Unfortunately just not a good experience, and over all disappointing.
Would return would recommend. Friendly accommodating staff, great serving size for cost. The food was on point you can literally taste the care that went into the preparation. Absolutely loved this place. ?
Food is excellent we love the chicken and waffles. although we've found that ordering the cinnamon bun to go is very inconsistent on quality, sometimes they assemble it and have it heated up (which is awesome) and other times you have to assemble a cold cinmamon bun yourself and the toppings are very lacking and the size of the cinnamon bun itself is inconsistent. In the future we will make sure to specifically ask for it to be assembled for us.
Oh how new location keeps delivering same great taste and friendly service with a crisp new atmosphere. Trendy clean brunch vibes. Does not disappoint with delightful menu and epic flavours. Bonus care and attention to make things portable for travel and serve later in another city !! Cooked to perfection with medley of flavours
Sometimes overshadowed a bit by the brunch place down the street, I think the food here is better and really enjoy not feeling cramped in like other places. Exceptional coffee too. Wish I could go daily.
We ordered the western omelette and bananas foster French toast. Not overly impressed with the French toast in a few ways- I received a dry end piece of the loaf of bread, the maple syrup portion was tiny, and I didn’t notice at rum-caramel sauce but the taste was good and the coffee strong despite only getting one refill for a $3.50 cup of coffee. The music was very loud for the morning but it had a good atmosphere and quick turnover on tables and many skip drivers coming in for pick ups.
Enjoyed a wonderful breakfast here. Quick service, tasty meal at a reasonable price. Have frequented their other location - can say that the experience at both have been wonderful. Kudos to the great service, will be back!
This place is always busy, gives a trendy vibe. Food taste good, but typically on the salty side, once I have learned to asked to have less salt and syrup on the side they turned out OK. Will be back.
