The food here is really good. I have been here at least a dozen times in the past year. Always Love their desserts. Our server, Nick, provided excellent service.
Their desserts are always so heavy and it’s not amazingly done either. Mostly a bunch of stuff thrown together. They’re not bad and very sweet, but one plate is enough for at least two people and eating that much of the same thing of a singular dessert is a tad much.Update:I typically don’t like to write reviews when it’s not based on the taste of the food, but I’ve had a terribly frustrating experience here not once, but twice with takeout. Whenever they are busy, their service is notoriously bad. I had waited 20mins for singular crepe with fruit and not because they took that long making it, but because the waitress stood there dallying around instead of going to check if the orders were done. I had to ask if my order was done and then she went and immediately grabbed it from the counter because it had probably been sitting there for over 10mins. It was frustrating, to say the least.
Been here twice and both experiences were great. They have a huge menu, the items are reasonably priced, and I always found it delicious and filling. The staff are great too - knowledgeable and very upbeat
The ice cream crepes come in big portions! I got the thank you berry much under sweet creations and they substituted mango ice cream instead of strawberry for free. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.
Walked by on 17th. Could not resist the smell. Was amazed by the vast selection of deserts. Nic was great. Recommended the Divide & Conquer. Wow, was it amazing. It had everything our sweet tooth needed. This spot was definitely the cherry on top of our great evening. Looking at another table, their chocolate fondue is beckoning us on our next visit soon...
My friend and I went today and the service was exceptional. Very warm and welcoming staff and the restaurant itself was so cute! The dessert was amazing and it was so hard to decide which one. We were so impressed with the portion size and it was soooo good! Definitely will be returning!
Let’s talk about the funfettie Cake I got. The cake wasn't even made properly, they gave me a vanilla cake slice with sprinkles on the side; anyone whose had funfetti cake knows this amazing American cake is top tier.The slice I was given was not worth $16, at that price I should have gotten a mini cake but wait the icing! The icing was vanilla cake batter, poorly blended. This was atrocious! I would not recommend having an dessert from this establishment. D Spot is a fantastically run establishment - amazing staff and ownership. The food is top quality, and I would most definitely recommend that you check it out if you are in the area and you are in a dessert mood!
Friend and I are vegetarian and these were the tastiest and most satisfying veggie burgers we’ve ever eaten! Came with tons of fries in the combo, very solid portion sizeArrived at 10pm, place was almost full but they keep people going quickly it seemedWill definitely be making this a regular spot every time we return to the city
amazing place with top of the line staff. we were treated amazingly by our waiter, even though we got take out. the menu is big with lots of options and the food tastes just as delicious as it looks! the prices can get a little steep, but its worth it considering the size of the dishes! i had an amazing experience here and i would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to get some amazing dessert.
