Please train customer service to your manager or replace him!I usually go to Cora on weekends as it is right behind where I live. I love the atmosphere and freshness of food. Wonderful staff working at this location. Today I ordered brunch burger as always, the potato wedges and the burger was cold, but I didn’t complain since I was in a rush. Half way through my burger, I noticed that there is no bacon and I didn’t bring it up since I was half way done so did not see it important, and decided to comment at the end. I mentioned my comments to the wonderful waiter and asked for his manager. Unfortunately, the Manager not only refused to apologize but also put the blame on me that why I didn’t mention it once I noticed, he even didn’t believe me and commented that they don’t do this type of mistake which is an unprofessional way of addressing a customer complaint. I thanked them, paid the bill, but I will never go back to this branch while this fella is the manager.
Nice location in the NW with lots of seating, came here prime brunch time on a Saturday and it was busy but plenty of seating. Tried the Chorizo-ham Skillet, add some hot sauce and ??
The place is clean, accessible parking, courteous staff. Our waiter James and Joyce were friendly, refilled out tea pots and provided containers and bags as necessary. The food was good and fresh. Seating was well dispersed and attracted good sunlight.Pleasant breakfast
Not a great experience. Seems unorganized and very busy. I went on a Sunday at about 1pm. The server had multiple new tables sat all at the same time, so she was rushing to get to everyone. That is easily prevented with staggered seating. The server was lovely and definitely doing her best. Ordered a smoothie, it came out warm the first time. I was brought a new one that was made properly. I like the idea of all the fruit on the plates, but a lot of the fruit seemed old, like it was cut at least a day prior and not stored well. I had the eggs benedict with bacon. Not impressed with the hollandaise sauce. The bacon was undercooked. There are much better and comparably priced places to go for breakfast.
Been a Cora fan for years and always got the Louis the undecided.Ordered via doordash, the crepe came with 5 slices of bananas and 1 slice of strawberry. While I appreciate inflation, I still would have expected the reduction of fruit to not be 6 pieces in my crepe for a dish costing $20.
The food is amazing the experience is lovely. The hospitality is beyond great, people are smiling and you feel welcomed. My only issue with Cora’s branches is the time it takes to get the food on the table. I am not sure why our family has to wait more than 30 minutes to get the food, especially when you see people who arrived after you eating first. I don’t think we are ordering rocket science food or something beyond the menu. This has been my observation in 3 branches so far. Anyway still love their food. Follow me for more insights!
After a long time went for a family breakfast. The host greeted us at the door, asked for proof of vaccination. After confirmation of proof of vaccination we were directed to our table. Server who took our order was very polite and patient. We ordered mix fruit smoothie of the day, egg benedict spinach onion goat cheese, gigi omelette, spinach cheddar omelette, burrito crepe, yogurt harvest crunch and strawberry banana pancake. Overall food was good. The things that I find a little different were the pancakes and the egg benedict. Had them before aswell yet it tasted not as good as before. Great place to go with family and friends.
Cora had a good selection of food items in their menu. I tried the eggs with bacon and potatoes. It was crowded on the weekend so maybe you will have some wait time. Overall nice place near Brentwood area
Service was courteous and fast. Servers were very polite. Although the meal itself was a little disappointing. The portion was big, that is a fact, but the quality was quite low. Hair thin strips of bacon, 1 thin slice of low quality sausage cut in 2, 3 miserable pieces of fruit, of which only 1 was good. The gluten-free wrap was ok. Gluten free bread was terrible. Latte is average, can't complain about it. I give it 3 stars for the nice service, otherwise it would have been 2.
A great place in NW for a wholesome french brunch! I was here twice during my short stay in Calgary. The sweet crepes are amazing!! If you want to a day of indulgence, this is the place! The next time I tried crepomlette! It's crepe + omelette. The sun dried tomatoes and spinach with goat cheese is a lovely combination. And yes, the hearty portion is worth every penny. The fruit cocktail of the day left me a little disappointed. But maybe next time would be the charm!(PS: I almost forgot to get pictures second time around, but here are the rushed pictures of my delish crepomlette!)
