Writing In Public Interest..... WORST !!WORST !!!!!EXPERIENCE again from Cinnamon Indian Restaurant. I paid my hard earned money and time for this order and everybody can see in pics what I received. Quantity of Chaat Paapdi is 1/3 rd of their original portion and a flood of highly cholesterol and spicy oil in the kadhai PaeerDish. ( they did intentionally because I post a real bad review 3 days ago which they didn't like. ) Stale Papdi oil fumes and again 6 peices of small paneer in the dish. Which is against their standard , because 2 days ago, their Manager Simran told me that we put 12 to 15 paneer cubes. So your order will be fine this time . That's the reason I ordered yesterday again, but disappointed. When I called the restaurant a lady picked up the phone and when I was trying to raise my concern , she didn't allow me to speak, and I tried to convince her that I am your customer, you need to listen my issue on the order first but she hang up on me. Then I called again , she started again yelling on me that your order today prepared according to me (her)and as per your (my) review which you posted 2 days ago. Then I tried and requested several times to AsK her name which she completely refused to share ( which is against customer service and consumer rights standards) . She didn't listen to me and kept on arguing and was extremely rude to me. She also threatened me by saying that I recorded all your telephonic conversation ( without my concern and informing me) which is illegal. Highly Disappointed and mentally stressed that how they can do this with their regular customer. I don't understand why they did that to me. I paid full amount in advance every time. Even I waited long for sometimes whenever they are busy with restaurant orders. Highly Disappointed. So I highly recommend you all please ? to order , if you care about your health and hard earned money. And also I request Rakesh and team, please Don't guide me in your reply that to call restaurant or any other number , because I tried yesterday and received the worst customer servive and hospitality experience from an unknown lady who called herself as a server, sometimes Manager or sometimes Owner. You guys are a team of Liars , who lie to me. Will be sharing the video soon and on different platforms. Thanks for your frustrated service at end.
Went for dinner on May 21 2022 at Downtown Calgary branch. I ordered Maharaja Thali and since I dont eat fish, I requested for any other item of chicken/paneer Or even any other stocked item which they must have made in bulk. They were reluctant and inflexible to make any changes in their Maharaja Thali as if it is been outsourced as it is from a different vendor. After speaking to 3-4 people in the staff and when I was about to walk out they agreed to give me paneer subzi. The overall taste of thali was 2.5/5.I also ordered for Moong Dal Halwa which was a frozen item of Brar/Nanak brand halwa thag you get in grocery store. I just took first bite and recognized that taste asap Lol. Similarly the same with Gulab Jamun, which was definitely Brar brand. They don't make desserts in the restaurant.The server and the staff were nice but helpless as they are not the owners.
I heard much about the restaurant and today I finally got a chance to check it out….I ordered a maharani thalli and honestly the food was not up to the mark and most of the items smelled and tasted stale. Dal makhni was undoubtedly good the naan was good but the rice were stale tasted like they were made a day ago. The jeera aloo was tasteless(with not even a pinch of salt). The mango lassi was not good the bhindi was ok and the paneer was so hard however the paneer gravy was ok. I don’t know if it was only today it happened but would love to hear back from you.
We have been eating here since we moved to Calgary !!! Not even once, disappointed with their food, presentation and customer service.. Simran served our table most of the time and wow that girl!!! Very patient and super friendly.. Today, Tanya served our table. Such a sweetheart, very calm and quick in service. Cinnamon you got the best staff I have witnessed visiting numerous Indian restaurants.❤️
Great food, this is my absolute favorite restaurant in downtown, Calgary. I have been ordering food from here for last 2-3 months and all the time I got fantastic and delicious food, no matter what I order I am always delighted with my meal. Apart from that, one of my favorite food here is papdi chaat?. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. The service is also best and quick. I highly recommend this place for takeout as well as for dine in.

From the fast response when email to get a quote on a big staff luncheon we were doing, and due to covid restrictions and capacities they were able to help split meals into all the buildings we were holding meetings, the food was delicious, they delivered and helped set up, thank you so much guys, this was the best experience and made life so much easier for me, I highly recommend them, there food is absolutely delicious. We will be using them a lot in this next year for meals, my staff all have rave reviews, you guys are amazing, thank you so much.
Authentic North Indian food and you really can’t go wrong with this place. If you are from Delhi then you would appreciate the papri chaat here. Paneer tikka is grilled to perfection and thali (vegetarian) won’t disappoint either.
Very good food! The prawn dish and cauliflower appetizer was fantastic.The country and hillbilly music was strange but it was an enjoyable experience.
Since moving to Calgary, I've been disappointed that Indian restaurants here seem to go easy on the spices on the side of caution and that "Spicy" often means "Just enough to make you taste it but not enough to be actually hot."This place made up for that! Butter chicken was amazing and the heat was just right. Spicy actually meant spicy, and I love it! Will definitely try it again!
