Great tasting food and great value. We had a brand new waitress who did a fantastic job looking after us. My guests commented "best lasagna" that they have ever had.
Food was good! Pizza and appies were quite good. We had asked for ice, on the side, with our wine, wine arrived- no ice, she had to ask again. We had to request pepper for the pasta, as well as Parmesan cheese. Additionally, we requested a spoon with which to eat the pasta, the only spoon we received was the one teaspoon in the Parmesan cheese. We then had to request more parm for the pasta, as initially we were given a very small amount. Overall, the food and ambiance were good, and service was okay.
We dropped in the other night and ordered the Arancini appetizer and a bottle of Italian red to start. The Arancini was very good. Unfortunately we did not get to enjoy the wine until after the appetizer because it took a very long time to make it to the table. For dinner we had a lasagna and a sea food pasta. Again, both were very good, fresh and well prepared. The service was friendly, but lacking. By that I mean that we were served the appetizer, but no serving spoon so we could dish it. The wine took 20 minutes to reach out table and it was after we finished our first course. The linguine would have been easier to eat if they had a spoon with the meal. We didn't want to keep asking and then waiting. I think with a bit more training the service would have been on par with the food.
After dinner our dinner table was visited by the server asking how everything was. Visited by the manager 10 minutes later. Visited by the chef 10 minutes after that. Got the impression they wanted us to leave. The restaurant was half empty at the time. Just seemed pushy.
I has a pepperoni pizza with cooked tomatoes and fresh cooked peppers. VERY tasty. My husband had the veal parmigiana which was equally tasty. Thank you to the chef and waitress for a great experience. Leona
Met some friends here for lunch and had a terrific Italian meal. Homemade pasta was amazing! Service and ambience really great also! And a great selection of wine to go with your meal, all for a great price. I highly recommend this local restaurant.
We enjoyed a business/friend lunch yesterday in this cute little restaurant. We loved the outdoor patio but it was a bit too cool outside.The food was excellent! We shared the calamari, it was very tender and tasty.We had vongola, lasagne and two other pasta dishes. We all enjoyed our choices very much.The chef came out and was very welcoming and happy to have us there. He recommended an excellent Chardonnay, we all loved it!It was a great experience for sure.The only thing I would change was the waitress poured a whole bottle in the four glasses to start. I like my wine to last a little longer than that. Especially a cold Chardonnay. Maybe she could half pour and refill?
We enjoyed the meal very much. Service was great, food delicious, music in the background. I would recommend Cibo’s for casual dining with friends and family!
