Excellent- gave us a complimentary crème brí»lée dessert with happy anniversary written in chocolate on the plate which was a nice touch
We were in town for a short period of time before we flew back to the States. The waitress and waiter did a great job catering to our young boys who were tired from driving. Great food and drinks! Would highly recommend!

We arrived at 6 which put us in before the crowd. The noise level definitely went up as the evening progressed. The waitress was very busy and it took a while to get our cocktails. However we determined that in fact it was not the waitress that was the concern but possibly the bartender as he could not make a proper margherita. The meal itself was amazing. The steaks were tender and moist. I would highly reccomend the Steak Oscar and the Mushroom and Goat Cheese for an appetizer.
My wife and I went there for our anniversary, I had booked a table online and no waiting to be seated. Our hostess was absolutely awesome, no rush in getting us to order and no waiting to order, hostesses like her are far and few between. When we were finished our meal we were given a glass of champagne for our anniversary. Our hostess made us feel extremely welcome and valued. I cannot say enough about the way we were treated.

We were frequent visitors to the chinook location until they closed during covid so we made the trek to the Barlow location as we have been missing the steak bites! If you have not tried them I guarantee they will change your world! We went during happy hour so we ordered a few! Another staple must have for me is the Chop Salad although the vinegrette dressing is different itâs still absolutely delicious and a meal in itself! Service has always been fantastic and no different here. Our server Malik was very personable and attentive. We will definitely be back!

I am happy I found Chop when I Google steakhouses! The ambience and decor are welcoming, lively, and modern. I had an amazing server, Zoe. She walked me through the menu and gave me suggestions that all were perfect. When I asked her about the area and other places, she gave me great suggestions and even got some from her colleagues.I started with the garlic chilli shrimp that came with bread that paired perfect with the butter sauce the shrimp were sitting in.I did a 28oz bone in rib eye rare plus, which came out excellent. The chef hand delivered and talked to me about my steak and preparation. It was absolutely delightful with great flavoring and cooked exactly how I wanted it.The chef came out mid meal to check on me again to assure I was satisfied with the preparation, which I praised him for.I was very impressed with my first experience and highly recommend! I only wish I had more time in Calgary to try more things on the menu.
