Great for budget and casual sushi goers, but not so great when it comes to authenticity. Large pieces of fish sit atop their nigiri orders, and I guess that provides good value. But when the size of the fish is disproportionate to the rice (Cho's is about 3 part fish to 1 part rice), then it throws off the fine balance of the sushi fish/rice ratio. If Cho's were to increase the rice amount, it would make the sushi more palatable, i.e. an even distribution of rice for every bite of fish.
Great sushi!! Large pieces, good price & the attention to detail was beautiful.I will definitely be back! ?
VERY good! Boss rool is huge!! Very fresh and tasty. Definitely be back
We only tried sushi and tempura here and it was amazing! For the price point, you get a ton of fish and the quality is great!
A touch espensive but pleasantly surprised! Really liked the mega roll and whichever roll here with the seared salmon ♥️♥️
We're lucky that this family run sushi and ramen joint just opened up in the neighbourhood! The sashimi pieces are nice and big and the presentation of all their dishes is delightful! Can't wait to try the ramen next!Update: I do t really love their more complex menu items. They’re too saucy and have too much going on for my preference - best to keep it simple when ordering.
Excellent sushi and green tea. I don't remember the other two dishes but they were equally well prepared.I plan to visit again soon
Delicious sushi! Very impressed by the generous amount of fish on/in each roll. Mango, Dynamite, Honey, and Loves salmon were our favorites. Will be back for sure.
Miso Ramen very bland, no flavor. Nigiri was good.
The food was fantastic and very flavourful. We had a rice dish, a noodle dish, tempura shrimp (the sweet sauce that came with it was the best!), and the Mega Rolls. It was a quiet place and the owners sent out some special treats for our children too! We found the place while visiting the city, and read the cute sign out front written in chalk by a child. It was adorable.
