The chicken was dry and the skin and fries were greasy. The food was extremely dark and it seems like the oil hasn’t been changed in over a month.This is the worst fried chicken I’ve ever tasted. Even the ones at grocery store concessions taste better. Take the extra trip to KFC or Popeyes.
Please don't waste your time or money going to this place‼️‼️‼️ My husband and I ordered here today and the fries were so greasy when you pinched them between your fingers grease dripped and they were burnt. I took them back and the cook was so rude she made an ugly face and gesture as if to say what's wrong with them? Clearly hates her job ‼️Nasty person couldn't even apologize. What a joke this place is I'll never waste money here again... And please don't you either‼️ You'll be HIGHLY disappointed.
Have been going since they opened. It just gets worse and worse. Complete garbage (fish&chips) these people don’t know how to cook! Soggy, greasy fries, fish dripping grease and they forgot my coleslaw. Never again. If I could give 0 stars I would

Thought we would give chicken on the way a try again. Big mistake. The French fries had so much dirt on them that you couldn't eat them. There was chicken feathers on the chicken. The drumstick was so small I thought it was a chicken wing. Chicken on the way it used to be very good but it sure went down hill. If they can't peel the potatoes they should at least wash them. Anyway unless it gets back to the way it used to be I don't recommend chicken on the way.
Chicken was dark brown and greassy like the fryier oil hadn't changed in months the fries were under cooked and the the shrimp sauce was disgusting. I'd give it zero stars but thats not an option . Worst chicken I've ever had and was expensive .
Horrible manager.I am waiting for the call from the owner.Been a long time and still didn't get a call back from the owner as I requested to the manager. I guess she was telling the truth that he doesn't come in often.Or she didn't tell him.If she is not sure who she can remember its the client you called annoying to the delivery guy over the phone as the delivery guy was infront of me while she said that about me. I heard it of my own ears.So owner, please get the facts from the manager then call me pleaseand I will try to update this review every month to say if I did or didn't get a call back from the owner.I wont email you.Put the dates and time you will be there on location between April 1st and April 5th 2022 and I will try my best to go on location and talk in person.It took you a very long time to notice my review let alone reviews about your own business.Any new business owner in the 1st week knows to follow up with reviews.You took a very long time before noticing.That is not good.
Chicken is amazing price is prefect but the fries are raw or under cooked ...been coming here for years but unfortunately will not be back ( not just one bad experience)
Have been going to this location for years and it's been going down ever since, today is the last straw, found a hair in my chicken thigh.
Terrible quality and lousy portion sizes. Gross greasy chicken with burnt oil taste. yuk. And the wings and drumsticks are so tiny now. What a shame because Chicken on the Way used to be great until they franchised it. Won't return...ever.
