Always wanted to try this place but now regret doing so. I have had below average KFC that tasted better. I almost certain that reused old oil. Chicken was overcooked.
Fries and salads are tasty. My chicken was really over cooked and flavourless to be honest. Big portion size though!
A Calgary staple. If you are craving fried chicken, don’t think about those three letters from the United States, think about Chicken on the Way! My family has been eating chicken on the Way for the past 30 years and the quality is far greater than any other fried chicken chain.Make sure you get some of their amazing creamer to go with their fries. We usually take it home and make her own protein with it and it is absolutely irresistible.Lastly, don’t forget to get the corn fritter or two and make sure to dip them in honey!
Went to Chicken on the way tonight fir the first time, got the super supper, man, that was an amazing meal at an amazing price. way to go you guys, be back soon
Excellent value! You instantly taste the superior quality of the locally grown chicken vs. the competitors... Potato salad is also great as is dipping your fritters in honey!

This location used to be one of my favs. The last 2 times I purchased here, the chicken pieces have been extremely small. The legs are more like the size of the wings. The service is great, they alway have a smile. But the value of the product is not worth it.
Just came in today and ordered a two piece fish and chips meal with corn fritters and gravy. Unfortunately the gravy was not properly secured and all of the gravy had leaked over the bag and food. I did not realize this until I arrived home. Please double check next time that your packaging is secure.
Worst chicken I've received from chicken on the way. Completely dry and sat out for God knows how long at the restaurant. definitely not the quality I was hoping for. I went during dinner time thinking it would be freshly made, I was wrong.
Fair price good food and so friendly staff I will be back
