I love fried chicken and Chicken On The Way has decent chicken... when you go at certain times. When you don't visit at the right time, you get chicken that has been sitting for awhile and dried out. Chicken On The Way isn't gourmet chicken by any means (visit Cluck N Cleaver if that's what you're looking for), but it's great for what it's meant to be - a quick takeout meal with chicken that has a basic crispy batter and the right amount of grease. If they were consistent with this for every meal, then they would be a great chicken destination.
I stopped at the Kensington Chicken on the way home and ordered two bonus orders with two extra fritters and honey. When I got home I opened up my orders to fries that were completely inedible they looked burnt and were extremely soggy and the honey which I asked for was not inside the order.When I called to let them know about my order the lady told me that there was nothing they could do and then told me that I should know that there are people starving in this world. I let her know that I know that but here in Alberta we work hard for our money and when we spend our hard earned money on food that we expect to be able to eat it she then said that if I brought it back that they would refund my money but I wasn’t about to drive an hour back and forth at the end of my work day.I was so disappointed in there attitude and how they spoke over the phone that I will never go back to that disgusting place that could care less about their customers. For those of you that choose to go there for your food atleast check it before you leave. Enjoy
Passing by. Was late and not much else open. Great place for fast fried chicken. Ordered three pieces and fries. Chicken was nice and juicy but not too greasy and received a giant order of fries.
great meal for a fair price. i love dipping my fries,corn fritters and chicken in their gravy. so good.
Service was nice and super fast, which was great. Unfortunately, the chicken had zero flavour. It was, however, tender but the chicken strips were like cardboard. Don't think I'll be able to eat it again. Two stars because of the good service and decent fritters.

Got chicken and fries from this place. And got a birthday snack for my wife. The chicken was so delicious and crispy outside but so tasty and juicy inside. The attendant was so kind and fun to talk to. I definately recommend this place.
