Tried the spicy chicken. It's 10 cents extra per piece and it's made to order so you'll have to wait 15 mins which was no problem. The problem was that it was incredibly salty. The saltiest fried chicken I've ever had.
Typically really good, but I think maybe I got reheated food left over from the lunch rush ( I went there mid afternoon ) the chicken was dried out on the inside and greasy on the outside. The fries were also dark and hard with the majority being smaller pieces than usual. Service was excellent.
I suggest going to the OG Kensington location. I love Chicken on The Way and been going there for nearly 15 years but this location is an injustice to the brand.Fries are soggy, chicken isn’t cooked thoroughly, the corn fritters are over cooked constantly…
Hit or miss depending on how busy. Sometimes the chicken is DRENCHED in grease other times it's hot and crispy. Sometimes the fries are good, other times they taste stale.

Great taste of fried chicken with great taste. It's was delicious and very juicy chicken.Service was fast and efficient, friendly.Prices are reasonable and affordable.Have various combinations at reasonable prices .
I just moved to the area. Have tried 14th st twice. Wasn't a huuuuge fan then. Had a craving for fritters so popped in this afternoon. Ordered fish and fritters. WOW...... Sooooo oily. Omg. The fish had a thick batter and was so greasy I ate half of the 2 huge pieces :(The fritters are very dense. Thick batter. No dip offered. Honey or a Buttermilk ranch would have been decent. It's been about 10 years and unfortunately this is my last.Service was friendly
Prices are good but food taste can be improved, I had the chicken pieces, fires and coleslaw, there was a long hair inside of my coleslaw.
I went here on Friday after work and after my son's hockey to pick up some chicken. bought the 5 piece chicken meal and the chicken was so over cooked it was dry and disgusting. Very disappointed
Normally pretty good. Odd day the chicken is not as good as most. Tonight also an exception because they forgot to put the chicken in the bag...didn't realize until i got home that i paid over $10 for a small bag of fries. Will make sure they verify that there is chicken in the bag before I leave the store from now on.
