I ordered honeydew slush half sweet. Was still too sweet and tasted like artificial candy. The pearls were not cooked thoroughly. They were hard. The place wasn't nice to come into. Looks ghetto lights were dim. Can't tell if it was open or closed. They girl was not friendly. Didn't speak English very well. Had a thick accent. I had a hard time understanding her. An unwelcoming experience.
Ordered fried chicken, sweet potato fries, regular fries, lychee black tea, and chocolate hazelnut milk tea. While I waited for my order, I took in the general layout and ambiance of the shop. It has an industrial design: lots of concrete with wooden and metal accents, high ceilings, and a lot of window space. What unsettled me was the general filth of...pretty much everything. The floor was crummy, flour on the counter, tables and chairs with visible residue, haphazardly placed items for storage. I do not mind a little mess, and understand it's a continual job...but the state of the place as a whole was not good...not clean. To speak of the food, the chicken was crispy and had an interesting flavor accented with...cinnamon (and a LOT of salt). I wouldn't recommend the 'Chicken XL' if you are hoping for a white meat style strip...it was a little fatty for my preference, but not in an unnatural way. The sweet potato fries were also crisp and sweet like a dessert. The drink, I enjoyed. Good flavor. The pearls were soft enough (maybe could have gone a little longer), but wasn't too much of a chew. The wait wasn't too lengthy, considering the amount of fry time. The service was fine: answered my questions and clarified/prompted me through the ordering process. The order was recorded and served accurately. To summarize, I won't return to this location due to the general lack of cleanliness, the food options are not alluring, and more favorable drink options at other vendors.
Worse location. Never had pearls available, food menu partially ran out. Would not recommend or come here again. For a place that sells bubble tea, you’d think having pearls would be necessary. The Marda Loop location is much better, good service and always has everything on the menu.
One tea was good, the other tasted disgusting and had an awful texture. They had just opened and the place was already disgusting. The tables had not been wiped from the day before and the store was mess. Staff was nice though
I got the popcorn chicken and pearl milk tea from here. The popcorn chicken was good. The pearl milk tea on other hand… the pearls were under cooked and hard.
I couldn't control the sweetness level, so it felt like I was drinking sugar in a tea bag with hard boba. I wouldn't recommend going here when there are better places like Koi fresh fruits and tea.
Hello,My wife, myself and our siblings went to this Chatime location and had a very disappointing experience. Sadly, however, we weren't surprised as this isn't the first time we've had a negative experience at this particular location. The other reviews for this specific Chatime location resonate with our experience. We arrived at the store at 8.10pm on a Wednesday night. The Chatime sign was turned off from the outside which made it look as the store was closed. The door, oddly enough, was held open by a bar stool. There were other customers inside the store waiting for their orders so it wasn't as we were going inside while it was closed. We were told that there wasn't any milk tea or pearls left but that there were other drinks/toppings available. We asked if they had pudding at which we were told that there wasn't any pudding left. Same deal for the matcha. To be told that one topping was out is understandable but to be told that other drinks/toppings were no longer available, after previously being told that everything else is available, is unprofessional. We didn't purchase any drinks as it seemed as there wasn't anything left for us to order.
The bubble tea drinks were amazing! The place was insanely crowded and the layout of the store is not conducive. It looks as though they've just moved in so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. But its cold industrial feel really doesn't drive home the cafe vibes that Chatime in other locations has.
I’ve also noticed really poor service with this particular Chatime. Certain staff can come off rude, and it can feel like you’re a nuisance to them. However, I’m giving three stars because the last two times I’ve been here, the staff had been courteous (not really friendly, just not rude). And also, the drinks are consistent and pearls are generally good.
Good when they actually have product to sell. They close at 8:30pm but ran out of milk tea and pearls by 7:30pm. Might as well put a sign on the door to let people know.
