We went after the Stampede and it was pretty full in there but we had a good waiter. Cocktails were fine, steaks average and pricey, Poutine horrendous, asparagus tasteless. Wouldn't bother again tbh.

Good reviews, first stop in Calgary. Unfortunately service was slow even though we were very patient. Food was disappointing. My entree was cold, dry patty and cold cheese. Salad was described as a garden salad (I confirmed with waiter it was a garden salad not the smaller version of the entree kale salad) but it was all kale.Don't come on a Monday
Charcut is by far my fave lunch spot downtown. The prime rib sandwich is the best beef dip I have EVER had. I won't entertain any other menu item. Prices are spot on for lunch and so amazing. The grainy mustard gives a nice texture to the sandwich. I highly recommend lunch at charcut.
We enjoyed our dine here. From the moment we were greeted and seated up to finishing our meals, we had an amazing experience. Our foods were all delicious I can't get enough of them. They were cooked perfectly and presented nicely. This place knows who to take good care of their customers because our server is really attentive to our needs and requests.

Super disappointing! Hostess chatted on the phone and ignored us while we waited for our reservation and our table wasn’t ready. Went to order at 7 30 and they were already out of three entrees. Then ordered bottle of 2017 wine and drank half of it and then realized it was a 2019. When we asked the waiter about this his response was “caught” the bartender then addressed the table by trying to sell us a 2017 bottle for double the price. When we said we ordered a 2017 he said, “well I presented the bottle, you should have noticed then.” After dinner we ordered a liqueur, again they were out. Overall the entire night was bad, dinner for 4 was $600 for four entrees, two apps, two bottles of wine, 4 cocktails. Not worth the price, the food was good, not great, service was poor and we felt like the staff was less then honest. We have been before and truly enjoyed Charcut but we all agreed, never again. There are way better places to eat in Calgary, for much less. This place needs to address the staff and how they handle customers.

The worst steak and prime rib I’ve ever eaten. We had 15 people there for dinner and everyone complained about tough beef. Delicious desserts though and very good service!
