I’ve been coming to this Cedars Deli for the past three months almost every day for lunch, it’s that good. I decided to check the reviews and to my surprise, there were a few negative ones.To those that are saying it’s not “true” Mediterranean food, are you blind? Their saying is literally, “A taste of the Mediterranean.” Every single culture's food has been Americanized to be able to sell to picky eaters. Do you think Chinese food in Canada is the same in China? Not at all. YOU pick the toppings and sauce yourself, so you have no excuse to complain about certain things not being authentic.“They’re rude”. Could it be because they’re understaffed and having to deal with rude Uber drivers barking at them? Or could it be that you complain about the sauce that’s on it… that you asked for? These guys are hard workers and have to deal with a lot, be kind and in return, they’ll treat you with respect.Sorry for the rant but these guys don’t deserve the hate. Great food and awesome service! Highly recommend the beef donair.
Usually love coming here but today i went in and it was horrible. Do not let the girl that works there make your wrap, she does not give you the proper amount of meat or veggies or anything for your money.This is the second time she has done this to me. Not worth it at all, i paid $12 for a regular with the amount of meat that's on a small. It was pathetic. Such a rip off and id advise if you go, refuse to let her make your wrap. Worst service from her, the filipino guy does a great job and is the reason I come back as he does a proper job. So head's up to whoever the owner is.... your losing customer's because of her.
We literally stumbled upon this place as we were looking for any open place for lunch. WHAT A TREASURE! As foodies, we love our fair share of fresh Mediterranean food, but this food was beyond delicious. My hubby had the mixed platter and I had the chicken and falafel. My hubby was more than full! The salads were super fresh, with crisp veggies (even in November), and the flavors were perfectly balanced. We will for sure be back!

This place is great for picking up food after a long day at work, very friendly and fast service. We also catered trays from this place for an office lunch (before COVID!)
This place probably has the best taboulli in town, and there are already some PRETTY DANG GOOD taboulli elsewhere. In my top 5 places in the city for sure! The best shawarma on Macloed! Would go, have gone, will go again.
So impressed with the food here. My boss ordered food from here for us one day and the portions were HUGE. Cedars did not cheap out on the meat or the ingredients. I got the chicken platter and it lasted me 2 meals.
The donairs here are so flavorful. Garlic sauce is delicious. Try the garlic potato wedges. The staff were fun to be around and served up food with positive energy.Only part I was not a fan of was the pita bread. Felt like it just gave in as you bit instead of having some chewiness I think of with a pita.
