If you plan on coming here for a holiday dinner. I suggest ordering food from a different store and eating it here as it took so long we nearly left just to order from somewhere else and eat. We came here with a reservation. Ordered food and waited over an hour just for soup. Definitely needs more people in the kitchen to crank food out faster but the owner looks like someone who is really cheap and doesn't even care for his own restaurant. Walks around the restaurant looking around doing nothing to help.The table behind us had a group of children sitting starving and the parents asked the waitress for a simple plate of noodles to feed them. "Yes okay we can get it out for you right away" 30 minutes later and it still hasn't come out.A gentleman had come in to do takeout and was told his food would take 30 minutes to make. To his surprise he came back still waiting another 25 minutes just for his food to come.
Beware of scamming management.After spending 5 years as a loyal customer it has come to my attention that the management has been tacking on additional prices disgusted as promotions that may or may not be valid at the time. Even after confrontation I was told that the promotion on the menu that was given to me actually starts the following day and nothing can be done about the money. Additionally, there have been other cases where they would add the price of an extra bowl of rice or add on a dish that was not served but at the time I considered those honest mistakes. I am heavily disappointed with the business and sorry for anyone that does not notice that they are overpaying. If you do decide to come here, check your bill and double check the numbers as there is zero honesty in this establishment.
I go to this place after an extremely long day. I order pineapple chicken balls and vegetable fried rice. Paid $30 and started my drive home for 4 hours. Once I’m on the highway I open up my food to eat, but it’s NOT what I ordered?! It’s not even the same type of meat?!! Shocked and disappointed by this place. The woman seemed nice but obviously didn’t care about what matters most… the food I’m ordering. I called back to ask what she gave me and she said she gave me pineapple chicken ball but as you can see from the photo that is not true… save your money, save your time and do not go here
I discovered this place by accident when I stopped in to a store in the same plaza. Apparently they've been in business for over 4 years but I had never heard of it. I've done business in the area for decades and generally, if there's a good spot, word of mouth will spread fast. There are several excellent Chinese restaurants nearby but I thought I'd give this place to try. The Dim Sum was average and the congee was very bland. I see there are mixed reviews and normally I'd give a place a second chance but there are so many places within a 10 minute radius that are so much better there is no reason to return.
Delicious dim sum and good Chinese food. Staff were really lovely, especially as we came in not knowing what to order.
It’s an ok dim sum restaurant, not crowded as others, no need to line up.. food quality & price are decent.. mom likes it as their food is not too salty as the other restaurants, but they seems lack of waiters ..
Everything goes downhill. Food quality is not as good. The oil is so stale you can literally taste it. Some items are out of stock for every visit makes the small menu even smaller. Porridge was supposed to be winter melon and smashed fish meat, instead it was Chayote and fish pieces. The list goes on and on. I don't expect the dim sum here in Calgary tastes as good and genuine, but, come on, at least do a decent job. And the service is mediocre, which was acceptable until this visit. THE DID NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT MY COMPLAINT REGARDING THE FOOD QUILITY AND POSSIBLY DOUBTED IT, NOT EVEN AN APOLOGIZE!!!!
Been ordering here frequently now and service has been good, and I find that the price is competitively fair with other Chinese restaurants and with takeout the food is always packed!
Been here many times. The food has been consistently overwhelmingly delicious. The portions are big. The price is reasonable. The service is attentive and excellent. Staff recognize you the minute you arrive. Highly recommend!
