Overall a great experience. We got the pad Thai and stir fry sweet mango. Along with bubble tea and spring rolls. Honestly could do without the spring rolls, however our food was really good! They made it fresh and got it out to us super fast. I must say I was impressed with the portion sizes. Bubble tea has great flavour, I’ve had better pearls but no major complaints here.We sat around and ate while people came and went and she treated everyone the same, excellent customer service! I would recommend this place to my friends and come back myself!
My favourite place to come for won ton soup, hot & sour soup, s+p prawns (all-round the food is fantastic). Owners are very friendly, and remember that I prefer veggies to rice with a dish that I order regularly. I really appreciate their thoughtfulness. Thank you so much!!
Satay beef was not the best did not enjoy very dry.
I went to California Thai for lunch. I had the general Tso chicken stir fry and the satay chicken. I had to wait a little while but the food was cooked fresh. The stir fry was very good but the satay was dry.
Got the Chicken Noodles, Ginger Chicken with Rice, and the Chicken Wontons. SO GOOD! And the serving size is amazing! This all can easily be a meal for 2-3. And to make things even better it’s ALL HALAL! Definitely my new go to!
My favorite place for Thai/Chinesse food. Big portions and great flavors. The staff who are working there so nice and friendly. Atmosphere is good. The best part of everything they serve Halal meat so it is a win for me.
Good place for hakka style food. The war won ton soup was delicious. The ho fun noodles and shanghai noodles were very good. The ginger chicken was good. But the fried won tons were not good, there was almost no meat in them
There was hair inside of my bubble tea and I only saw it on the straw that was submerged after I had almost finished it and who knows how many more were inside the drink that I swallowed
Tried the food at California Thai through SkipTheDishes delivery and pick-up. The food never disappoints and it is always flavorful and delicious!I see a lot of people complaining about the "fishy" flavor of the classic pad thai. Despite the restaurant having amazing and delicious food with massive portions for the price, the rating is lower than it should due to a little misunderstanding with the classic and California flavour. I asked the owner about it and apparently the "classic" flavor is a seafood-based sauce.If you're looking for the typical orange-colored sweet and sour pad thai flavor, try ordering the "California" flavor, as it is a tamarind-based sauce you'd normally find at a westernized Thai restaurant.
