Went to this buffet on a Saturday evening and was very busy. The atmosphere was not as clean as we would have liked. The tables are fairly close together. The buffet itself was not maintained very well. Food spilled on the sides of the trays....the cleanliness was a concern. Generally, we were not happy with the meal experience and will not return. Additionally the price of $31.95 per adult was much more than what the buffet had to offer.

I don’t usually do 1 star review. I haven’t been here for at-least 5 years or so. My friend wanted to eat Chinese buffet as they’ve eaten in exceptional places in Toronto. Today it was so disappointing as you can see in the picture, the rice was so cold and tasteless food items. It did feel like left overs - clean up time. We asked the server lady she mentioned about the steamer wasn’t on to keep food warm. For the rice first in buffet I eat only vegetarian- so sad to see the ginger beef( oily and looked so old) and the buffet was so unappetizing. Too bad if we didn’t touch the food , we would have left the restaurant. Hopefully you guys Will make changes and it won’t be anytime soon I will return there. Very bad experience for my friend. I love good food but unpleasant Experience. Sorry Buffet Yangtze, poor service and poor quality food. There are way Better places in NE for a good tasty meal.An apology for cold and tasteless food , would have changed our mind.

great n fresh food. clean and very spacious.child friendly

We ate dinner here last Monday, and I was extremely disappointed with their food because of 2 main reasons: few varieties of food choices (including deserts), and too slow in refilling the food.As for being too slow in refilling their empty food trays: had to return twice to get food but they even have not filled up the trays (have attached a picture as proof). Conclusion: Don't bother to come here - the buffett price is not worth it. Better spend it in some other restaurants.

Haven't been here for ages but decided to come back for an Easter long weekend brunch. This place has quite a selection to offer, from salad bar to dim sum to stir fried and deep fried dishes. There is something for everyone. My favourites were the shrimp dumplings, shrimp and chives dumplings, and shumai (shrimp and pork dumplings). The turnip cakes were good too, same for the braised eggplant. My favourite deep fried item was the juicy chicken wings. Chow mein and Singapore rice noodles were so so, nothing spectacular. Soya beef noodles was a hit and miss too, I wouldn't waste too much space on it. For those that liked the exotic chicken feet, the sauce was right on and definitely a tasty item. Salt and pepper short ribs were quite good, same as sweet and sour pork. Egg tarts would have tasted better if they were hotter.Overall, the food was good value for the price. It's not as authentic as your regular dim sum restaurant. However, considering dim sum is so expensive these days, this place is a good alternative for a mixed group with some that are not picky dim sum eaters. Kids love this place since they get to pick what they want on their plate and there is Ice-cream to finish up the meal.

Nice and clean buffet, but need more food variety. The dumplings wasn’t good at all.

I never experienced anything to it! My family decided we all go out for Mother's day launch, and we made a reservation at Yangtze Buffet for May 08 2022, for 7 adults, on the phone the restaurant asked us to be there at 1130am, because it will be Mother's day and very busy! So they did know it will be busy! And we said yes, we will be there at that time. We got there, the restaurant was packed, and more and more people were standing inline to get in the restaurant, we got our table. So from there we all went to the Buffet to serve our self's , to get some food on our plates. Surprise!!!!! There was no food in the shaving dishes, nothing! Oh there was some left over scraps, here and there! Some chicken wings, some french fries, some fried rice, and some eggrolls, so we went back to our table, and thought we will wait, and we waited, after like 15 mins we went again to the dishes to get some food, same thing! Nothing! So because we were getting Hungry we took a bit rice, and some spring rolls what were not cooked. and this went on for another half hour. Every time we went back to check , is there anything new there what we can actually have, like some Ginger Beef, the serve brought out a dish Ginger Beef, and in one minitue it was Gone!!!The serve came to our table and asked::: is everything ok?? well I asked her, how many cooks to you have in your kitchen?? she said 7! I was completly shocked! I told her, well there is no food in the dishes, and if they bring something out that is gone in a minite , like we were chickens and trying to scarp some food together! We were very upset! we had some french fries, and some icecream and we decided to leave. So they brought the bill, and the waitress said, on the bill we added the serves fee!!!! I was again surprised!1 Full of surprice!!! what service fee??????? since when do we add service fee in a restauraunt???? is that the tip??? Or what is that, when all we got served with was water!! so I went up to the front door guy, there, who ever he was and I complained, that we actually did,t even eat, They looked at me like I was a free loader, and they got upset!!! ohh wowwww!!!! so I asked them to please atleast give me a discount, so instead of paying 220, i payed 180, but again for what????? for some chickenwings onionrings and icecream!! They never even said sorry! If you cannot provided the food service to your customers, then don't let that many people in your restaurant!!! and maybe let me decide how much tip would I want to pay fro the service!! it was just desgousting!!!! never will go there again!!!

Nice place to visit and the food is great ?

Great tasty food and great service. Lot's of choices

Really great for families or just friends that have big appetite! It’s $30 for buffet so expect the volume of food doesn’t mean 5-star quality. Customer service is amazing, and food was worth the AYCE $30 fee.Just wished they had some more variety for crabs and shrimp (maybe they can do honey chili garlic crab in the future?) ;) overall I went home with a happy full tummy!
