The restaurant was decent enough and offers different chicken wing flavours to choose from. We specifically loved the Korean flavor. Fried rice was tasty and the portion should be good for 4-6 people, unless you’re a big eater ?. Wing price can be offset if you order a drink. However, be cautious as they do charge extra if you ask pearls to be added to your real fruit smoothie. In other words, their drink while nothing too special about it is way too pricey. I suggest order the cheapest drink they can offer just to offset the price of the wings. Lastly, wing portions can be inconsistent. I wish they get rid of the wing tip rather than include it as part of the portions. Seriously!!! ?Overall, this is a good place to hang out, but I can see where other reviews about noise comes from. The place due to its proximity to post secondary schools can be packed and loud.
Consistent!!.. Before covid and now, the wings, the friendly service, the quick orders, the bubble tea... still as delicious as before. Just top notched.Was here with the family for a quick bite, entered, got a seat , sat, ordered, ate, and out in an 1hr.The only thing I missed is the family size fries!!I don't see any price increased since covid, food was as amazing as the service! ??
Love the simplicity and atmosphere of bubblemania. It reminds me of a university hang out spot where you can expect good food, decent pricing, bbt and good times with friends. It's almost always packed each time I go at night - so haven't had the chance to experience dine in yet.Experienced the take out services multiple times here (ordering online) though - a very simple and straightforward process where you go in to pick up by your name and pay for it at the front desk.The staff here are nice, courteous and friendly.Would highly recommend the wings here but if it's take out, more of the dry wings. The wet ones were ok - appreciate the gesture of separating the sauce and the wings (so they don't get soggy) but the sauce seemed rather watery in the end and didn't stick on the wings (it soaked in instead). The drinks here - hits the spot with such a wide variety of mixes you can get. Ultimately love the wings and bbt deal which is $10-11ish in the end. Curry chicken rice isn't bad as well - it's not your typical Japanese style curry where it's thick, but this one has good kick and taste to it.If you're looking for fancy...this won't be the place for you. If you're looking for a hangout, low-key but good vibes spot but not quiet/eerie/overpriced...this is definitely it.
Great atmosphere. Always a great go-to, and you can always count on great taste. Service is prompt and courteous, and the food is worth it. Whether just a meet-up with friends, or dinner out, you can't go wrong. One of the best locations in Calgary for wings and bubble tea!
Decent late night asian snack place, I really like that they are opened so late because we don’t have too many of these places in Calgary.Their food and snack menu is not bad, although the quality of their chicken wings aren’t that great and I’m not a fan of their bubble teas. The pearls are not a good texture and most of the drinks are made with powder (where the flavour is too artificial for me). Although there is a fresh fruit option, just more expensive.I would come back for the fried Asian snacks.
Such a good place for bubble tea, and I head from everyone that they have amazing wings. I'm excited to return one day to try them!Two bubble teas will run you about $ 15, pretty normal. The staff is nice and attentive. Place seems to always be busy, good, and bad. Wait times can be long, but the wait is always worth it!
This place was great! We came for bubble tea and wings, and the wing special worked absolutely perfect for us! The customer service was really nice and very friendly. They also were quite attentive and didn't miss a beat when we needed something. Will be happy to return!
Definitely one of my favourite Bubbletea place here in Calgary. I’ve been coming here for over 20 years now and they’ve come a long way from when they started their bubble tea place.If anyone asks me where to go for bubble tea this is the place I’d always recommend.
Fun and unpretentious place for bubble tea and wings. Absolutely love the bulgogi grilled cheese. Fastest service of any restaurant I've ever been to. Props to them for being so efficient!
Perhaps the best Salt and pepper chicken in town. buy milk tea so you get 40% off the wings. Pair it with fried rice to make sure it’s a glorious trip to flavortown However, the super spicy fishballs sucks balls, I’m pretty sure that’s store-bought. Will avoid it like the pesky youtube ads next time
