Was brought here by a friend far cooler than I, still had a blast. This place really serves a type of person willing to have fun. I wouldn't recommend wearing white especially if you plan to go into the mosh pit (bleach cleans white canvas if you're reading this to late). Mosh pit was great, I wasn't familure with this type of thing but I still felt included. Very good place.
We had so much fun, we went for comedy night and the comedians were all really funny. Our server was the bomb too, she was super cute.... Loved her☺️
Broken City is the most inconsiderate, awful bar in this city. They blast music from their roof top directly into my apartment building every single night all summer long. It's a hazard to my mental health, as well as the other residents in my building. But they don't care. This city would be much better without them in business.
Worst bathrooms in the city. Probably not to code. Should probably be reported for poor quality of bathrooms. Bathrooms are covered in graffiti, holes in the stall doors, toilets often don’t work/flush, no mirrors in the men’s washroom, in the women’s washroom you can’t see yourself in the mirror due to the massive amount of graffiti in the mirror.
Live shows and cool looking place. The food we tried was decent too.
Came for one of the BIG winter classic nights, had a great time. This place must be a hit throughout the year, as the upper deck seems like a great place to hang out during the summer. The downstairs, has a great vibe too, very well worn in bar fair. The food was actually top notch, had the cauliflower wings. Was great, recommend ordering them with a sauce. Aside from alcohol, you can also order tea and coffee, and even get bottled water here, or just tap water, with or without ice. Still lots of options, they have a menu available at the bar, downstairs, if you want to see it or scan the square code taped to the tables.
I haven't been out dancing in over 3 years. Some friends and I decided Broken City would be a great place to try. They were right ? The staff were great. Bartenders were awesome. Great vibe. The djs were fantastic! Everyone was super friendly. Including majority of the patrons. I thank Broken City for helping make my birthday so much fun ? ?
Great prices, awesome atmosphere and a delicious east coast donair for those of us missing home. That said my only complaint is that there’s no “Super Donair” for those of us from NL.Just the same but significantly bigger with no side, and this place will be the whole package. I’m going to be living in the area. So I’ll keep my eyes on that menu.
Comedy Monday night is one of the best comedy shows around and super cheap, sadly the food is never consistent.
This place knows how to keep you entertained from name that tune, comedy acts dance hall or just stop by on the patio... the vibe rocks and who ever is picking the staff bravo they are all gems‼️
