He has become a wonderful patron/friend to us all (staff & customers).This is the message and I had to share it!!!"Stopped into the Bowness Pub (family owned) today for a little lunch. All I can say is WOW !!!!!I had the Double Monterey Jack burger and my mouth couldn’t stop eating. The burger was fantastic. I eat out daily due to work, this was the best HOME MADE burger I’ve had in years!!!!Such a pleasant surprise from typical bar food. Thanks to the owners for the reminder great food is still out there. Pic below says it all."

Extremely bad experienced. Served raw chicken!We ordered two cheeseburgers and a order of boneless chicken wings.Food came out super quick and both me and my girlfriend ate two of our boneless wings and noticed they were cold. I cut one open and they were completley raw on the inside. The burgers were both cold as well and the patty was a little on the rare side.The waitress said sorry but did not seem very apologetic, I tried not to get upset at her but her response did not match the situation.Were comped the wings but paid for our burgers even though we are both sick to our stomachs trying to vomit so we don't get food poisoning. So completley wasted burgers. I even tipped for some reason because I felt bad that this happened but in retrospect she did not react how one should when you served someone raw chicken.This experience completley ruined our day and I can not express disgusted I am by this experience.Will never eat her again. Wasted 30 dollars for the pleasure of getting food poisoning.I want to be contacted from the owner, this is unacceptable.
We were served raw wings, which we didn’t realize were raw until we had already started eating. When we told the waitress, she was mildly apologetic but seemed more concerned about making light of the situation (blaming the kitchen). They took the wings off the bill at our request, we paid for our burgers & drinks (we later discovered the burgers were also underdone) and left right away.This was our first experience at Bowness Pub, and will absolutely be our last. Worst experience ever.Now we wait for the food poisoning to kick in.
Nice place to chill out. Ribs, salad and wings are nice. Excellent service from the server even if she's alone that night.
