Great service and food quality!
Always a favourite place to dine. It wasnât very busy during the lunch hour⦠But the service was pretty slow. Fortunately, we werenât in any hurry. Was a birthday celebration⦠First restaurant Iâve ever had that didnât give a comp desert⦠But it was still very nice. Will certainly be back.

Bow Valley Ranche is absolutely phenomenal in every way. Thereâs no better way to say it. Fine dining in an absolutely stunning and historical setting. The service was excellent, the food was top tier, and for any whiskey drinkers, the senator old fashioned was out of this world! Highly HIGHLY recommend this beautiful spot for a date night, anniversary, gathering of friends and family, wedding, or just to enjoy a beautiful experience because why not! Do yourself a favour and treat yourself to the next level! You wonât regret it!
The food was beautifully prepared and presented. The cauliflower/onion soup was superb, one of the best Iâve ever been treated to. Our server, Georgia made an outstanding decaf mocha for me. The Ranche is one of the few places Iâve been that prepare a mocha exactly as I like it. My friend and I had the express lunch. The little brownie dessert was a perfect size, although for me, personally, I would leave out the cherries. We had a lovely, relaxing visit! Have been several times and will definitely be back.
I wasnât going to order dessert, but couldnât resist the mignardise. Basically 5 mini desserts for only $10, all absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The only disappointment was the large table of people with very loud voices next to us, but not much BVR could do about that. Apart from that, a wonderful lunch as usual!
We had a lovely summer dinner on the patio at BVR. Dana, our server, was a perfect combination of being friendly, professional, and quietly attentive. The food was flavourful, beautifully presented and every bite was delicious. We ordered the beetroot salad, grilled Halibut, roasted chicken, Chardonnay wine and a tasty cheesecake. We appreciated the ambiance & historical aspects of the ranch house, making for a very pleasant and relaxed evening.
What a great location - great service, food was excellent although the halibut was a little under seasoned. I love the cheese plate for dessert - fantastic value as well - probably my favourite menu item at the BVR. The mignardise was was excellent as well - fantastic to get a dessert with five different little items. Overall a fantastic meal and experience.
