My favourite place for karaoke! I love the karaoke here and the hosts. The staff are always great and the food is delicious ?. I HIGHLY recommend Bootleggers to people who love karaoke with great hosts, lots of songs, fantastic staff, yummy food and a great crowd of customers.
The place is in need of a makeover. Badly! Tables are uncomfortable, the booths are too far from the tables so u feel like a kid sitting on the edge of your seat to eat. The outside needs a paint job. The inside looks like a biker bar not a sports bar. BUT the food isnt bad!
Very bad service. Went for wing Wednesday and waited 40 minutes to get my order. I don’t mind the wait but on top of it the wings were cold cold. Not hot in temperature at all. When asked to get it remade - the server wasn’t too nice about it. Also when i said that will it take 40 minutes agains - she just said she will rush it for us in a very bad negative tone.I really did like you guys but you guys really disrespected me that night. I hated to complain and was really trying to be nice but didn’t get that in return. Not really planning to go back here anytime soon!
Bootleggers is the best place for Karaoke AND food. Good food and the best karaoke. Cat is a fantastic host lots of fun. One of the best song selections in the Calgary karaoke scene. Fun crowd especially now that Cameron P Kennedy has vowed never to return. Free to sing whatever we want now fun times.???
The food here is outstanding! Came here a few nights in a row as we were in town for a ball tournament. I had the beef dip 2 nights in a row because it was so good! Definitely recommend
Used to really enjoy this place. I don't know if the waitress just didn't want to be there or what but regardless shouldn't be taken out on customers who wanted to be there. Had full plans on having a few beers, play pool and have some good food with my partner. Unfortunately, after receiving our second drinks after our potato skins (which were burnt), we were ignored for a half hour. Instead of bothering for more food or even getting some change for pool tables, we decided to say screw this place and go somewhere else. Don't think I'll be coming back anymore.
Nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Good place to go hang out with friends and play a bit of pool. Food was pretty good, nothing extraordinary. Prices were fair and even after a mix up on our order staff were nice and fixed it up right away.Would come and eat and drink here again for sure.
Went for karaoke with a guy who had way too much to drink before showing up. Got there early, ordered the Maple Dijon Salmon and he had the lasagna. Portions are large and both were really good with flavours and not over salted like most bars.Both the fella I was and I had a hard time with the machine, but the staff were very gracious and eventually we got things squared away. Special shoutout to Kaylee, the bartender (I hope I'm spelling that right). Great customer service. I'll be back!
Been here a few times now in the last month and it was great. The first time was fast service, the second time it was a slow wait for wings and drinks, disappointed. Tonight took over a hour to just get our first set of wings and then 35 - 45 mins for the second round. The drinks where slow coming as well most likely won’t be coming back save your money and go somewhere else.
Went there for wings and a drink after work. Very nice looking place. A sort of neighborhood watering hole. Staff was good and attentive. I will definitely go again. Wings were quite good
