They have a great Happy Hour here with lots of cocktails, beers and appies to choose from! (3-6pm). Servers were quick and nice to us. Finally tried their Lobster Roll. It’s a bit disappointing with majority of the filling were just coleslaw, and a few lobster meat on top. But the bun taste super savoury and perfect compliment to the meat! Clam chowder was surprisingly good! Really have that ocean taste to it with real clam meats. The Donair wrap was always amazing and very tasty! I wish I ordered large instead cause regular size was too small for me. Only issues that I had was the parking. Street parking is always a headache in Mission, but that’s expected so arrive early!
This was my first experience at this location and also the first time trying the brunch menu. The servers were friendly and the food was great. We ordered the donair benny and the lobster benny. They are served on biscuits which are more substantial than the traditional english muffin. The benedicts were just as good as other popular brunch spots, and without the hour long wait time. Definitely recommend and will for sure be back.
After a very bad break up with my last fish & chip place over coleslaw (they were charging $5 for a 50 ml container when they remembered it, and I had tried to make it work for a while) I felt adrift. Then Blowers & Grafton started making an appearance on my socials and I was willing to see if there truly were other fish in the sea. Now B&G is our fave!Their lobster rolls are quite nice. Substantial pieces of meat with a pleasant dill note.Fish and chips are delightful. The grilled lemon is a wonderful touch and their tartar recipe has really grown on me. The Fisherman’s feast is sooo good for variety. It will feed more than one person or provide a few meals. It has fish and chips, fried clams, scallops and prawns. My fam and friends prefer Calgary style shawarma (I love that too) but I quite like the Halifax sweet-sauced donair’s here too.I hear Sage Hill is getting a B&G and I am chuffed there will be one nearby. Oh! And their coleslaw is fabulous and copious. Bon appetit!
Staff, food, drinks, and atmosphere are great! 5/5 across the board.
YYC's home for what Churchill described as The Good Companions.. A very fine fish and chips and all around delicious, fresh, fried seafood. Great Caesars and lots of beer from Atlantic Canada. What else could you want?
Awesome food and drinks!!
Amazing taste of Halifax street food in Calgary! BEST garlic fingers in town and great service. Lauren, Ben and Deanna were so friendly and welcoming. True Nova Scotia style.
We went here for Brunch! They have a variety of items to choose from. The Atlantic Lobster Bennie was Devine! Large chunks of Lobster, soft poached eggs, on Touton (a traditional Newfoundland fried biscuit) topped with the best hollandaise sauce.Served with a generous side of seasoned Hash Browns! Our family also tried the Chicken & Waffles which surprisingly came with chicken wings on top.A chicken breast or a boneless piece would have made it easier to eat with the waffles. The Hash Bowl did not disappoint, seasoned hash, crispy bacon, pico de Gallo, spring onion, soft poached egg and hollandaise sauce! The service was great! Our server was friendly and attentive! Our new favourite place for Brunch!
The best donair I have ever had ! highly recommend ? our table also had the fish and chips which was also very good !!
Best fish n' chips I've ever had in my life. I am not joking here (an italian could never joke about food. NEVER). The lobster rolls were delicious and are a must try. Staff was lovely, kind and very attentive. Staff beware! We will definitely return ❤️
