We went late night on a weekday - Blanco is great for this as they have the vibe of a restaurant downtown or in a much larger city. Great if you want to hang out with friends for a margarita and tacos. The chili coconut margarita was definitely the star! When tacos are on special, it's great value, otherwise a little expensive.

Ended up here after looking for a brunch. This place has high chairs for babies. The server said they're out of some sort of tacos. I said ok. I wasn't going to order tacos anyways. Then I looked at the menu. It's some sort of Mexican place that just serves tacos and burritos. I was like 'ok'. So I ordered some lunch burrito thing. It was delicious. The service was awesome. The only complaint I'd have is the dipping sauce with the burrito was super cinnamon. I just used the guacamole. Maybe switch cinnamon with chili powder. Other than that prices were fair and I'd recommend this place.

Really good margaritas. I only wish that there were more options for frozen margaritas, there were only lime and strawberry (both of which were delicious). Lots of options for non frozen margs though, I just don't like those as much.Food was great as well. I had the three tacos (chicken, pork, fish), and my friend got the chicken quesadilla. The tacos don't come with salsa or sour cream, that costs extra. Cheese costs $3 as well, be warned.I would come here again.

This restaurant was great at first, however quality and quantity of food has been steadily decreasing, and food/service has been incredibly inconsistent. Seems like depending on which chef is working, the food is completely different. We were getting takeout almost every week, and more than half the time something was missing from our order. Disappointing as this place had the potential to be great, but feel like we have given them enough chances so will not be back.

Parking at this location is horrendous, do they not think of these things when designing a restaurant? If you don’t own a compact car be prepared to walk 2 blocks from the Mall. Tequila was good, service was just OK, some items not available: queso, street corn at 6:00 p.m. reservation. Taco’s we’re definitely not great, seemed to be cheating on toppings from other Blanco experiences, especially the shrimp tacos ? General consensus was that food was not up to usual standards, besides table-side guacamole, which was great. Really a downer, as Blanco is/was my favorite Mexican restaurant - will go to Salt & Pepper next time.

Great menu and service. The various margarita flavours and the high quality meat choices for the tacos are highlights. There is free two-hour parking on the street and underground.

We love coming for meatless Monday, 50% off the plant-based menu. Great food! ?

We had a girls night out and decided to check out Blanco. We had the best time. The food was excellent the vibe was great and the service was exceptional. Our server Jess was amazing, she made happy hour even more happy and was super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this place

Blanco’s food is okay (tacos always seem to come out lukewarm during happy hour). Decent menu selection for food and their margs are good.Last night we had pretty poor service at this location (our server left almost halfway through our time here, and we spent 30-45 minutes trying to make eye contact with her prior to that so that we could at least get some water or drinks). Eventually someone came over and apologized and stated our server wasn’t feeling well and had to leave. We were finally able to get our drinks and place our food order. It seems they forgot about the food when they came back and asked if we would be ordering any food. To which we replied, “we did.” Another 45 min or so goes by, for approx 3 tacos per person. They forgot to ring in a takeout order someone in our party had placed to take home, and stated “it only takes five minutes to make the tacos.” Unsure why we waited around an hour to receive ours if they only take five minutes; but it seems they just kept forgetting about our table. At this point, our reso for 7 seemed pretty pointless as I was late leaving for other commitments - largely due to the service taking over 2 hours total to get our food and pay.Additionally, water was never topped up. Really spent most of our time trying to flag someone (literally anyone) down instead of having a good time.Reading these reviews, it seems we are one party of many with the same experience. I hope Blanco can take this feedback and improve upon it as it seems to be a consistent issue.

I am giving this experience a 3, because I cant give a 3.5.While I have been to Blanco in the past and had some decent experiences, after my visit last night for the half priced happy hour I am not sure if I will be back any time soon. Happy hour at Blanco is usually a good time, it offers great food at a very reasonable price and provides a nice atmosphere to get together with some friends.Last night however, the food and atmosphere was not there. While I understand that late night happy hour is put in place for a reason, if it is being advertised there should be no drop in the quality of food. Which is what I experienced last night. There was definitely something off with the veggies being used as topping for the tacos. So much so, that all 3 of us at the table were dumping the cabbage out of our food by the end of the meal.Another thing we realized is that the music kept being turned up as the night went on. Felt like a tactic to get the groups of people in the restaurant out sooner, but if you have people in your restaurant at 9pm on a Wednesday, up in the suburbs should you really be kicking them out?For reference my table left at 10:15 and Blanco closes at 11 so I didn't feel like we were in the wrong.
