Ordered a 3-topping pizza tonight via SkipTheDishes. Arrived hot, quick, and delicious - no complaints.Dropping them three stars because I wanted to also order a donair, only to find that their default sauce was tzatziki and they wanted to charge me an extra dollar for donair sauce. Guys.... a donair by definition has donair sauce on it. I didn't order it because I won't bow down to bait-and-switch tactics. For that reason I won't be ordering again. If they fix this problem, I'll reconsider it - the food IS good.

Got a large 4 topping pizza it was alright..but eventually we all paid the price as it escaped us like a freight train!

This is a hidden gem!!! Nice costumer service by the owner him self the jumbo Hawaiian pizza that I ordered was delicious, good size I also ordered 20 hot chicken wings super juicy even my wife love it, happy wife...

WHAT A JOKE!! Long story short, got a nasty, cold, and tasteless Donair that I wanted a refund for. The owner took my Donair and threw it out and said no refund. I actually couldn't believe what I just witnessed. After arguing with him for a minute he yelled at me to get out and never come back, to which I assured him I wouldn't be. Dirty kitchen and horrendous customer service. STAY AWAY!!

Had some pizza there yesterday and it was not very good. Big slices for $5.25 though.

Really nice people and really good pizza. Good place even for vegetarians

So good and so much meat on the donair !

Ordered a donair pizza and was extremely disappointed!Flavourless and there were barely any donair meat.Definitely won't recommend this place

Very simple, delicious Donairs. John and his wife are always extremely happy and excited to make food for you. I recommend big John’s to all of my friends !

Tucked away in a plaza next to DQ is this hidden gem. Not sure what the donair tastes like but was recommended to try their pizza. Similar to most of Calgary's style of pizza (aka real stringy cheesy), Big John's also fulfills the mark of having a good ratio of toppings to cheese to dough. There is weight to the pizza, which says a lot. I did find that the pizza was more on the oilier side as the box will show and also your hands after devouring a slice. Their garlic sauce is mediocre as it tastes more like tzatziki sauce with garlic chunks in it and their hot sauce was meh..as it reminded me of Frank's hot sauce (more vinegar based). Nonetheless a good pizza spot that is heavy and hits the spot in indulging.
