Went for Thursday night jam was a great time. House band and some cover bands alot of fun. Lots of dancing and beers.
Good place to eat and converse with family and friends. Waitresses have great personalities and the place is very clean. You also get huge portions of food. I'll be going back soon. VLT's were decent too. $$$$
We tried to come for lunch on a Sunday afternoon, the bar was dead which is fine. We sat ourselves, waited 5 minutes but nobody came to serve us. So we left.I’ve been here lots so I know the food is tasty -but it is hard to judge when the customer service is non-existent.
Have been coming to Big Al's for almost 40 years! Celebrated my 18th here my oldest daughter's 18th and recently my grandsons18th. Great family owned place with great food and great service!
A place for great live music and good food. What makes this place special is the down to earth people and the awesome staff!!!
If you dont tip the waitresses "big time" they stop serving you. AND I do tip, 2 bucks every ten bucks or two drinks.... if you ask why they are not serving you they make up a reason to not serve you to other staff, but never say anything to you.... just because you dont tip them what they want 7 up each time they serve you, so then you go to the bar, and they too let the staff and say the server cut you off due to attitude or too much to drink. WOW never have I been so drunk, or drink so much, maybe this is the problem that I hardly need service. If you have issue with that, or one server they have it out for you, with no grounds at all. Terrible staff unless you pay immensely in food tips and drinks... otherwise they mistreat customers who just come to dance, watch the bands, or shoot pool.
Sat a whole hour before I had to get up and order our food. Waitresses seen us sitting. Ignored, before I got up and ordered our food. No tip. We used to come here all the time and had the best service. Not no more!Racism at its finest.
Ok so I'm being asked what i ate here and if I ate anything it would have been a barley sandwich with a side of beer. I don't think many people know what a great place this is for live music. We stopped in to check out a well known band and there was actually places to sit. The staff really pays attention to detail and it was a very good time. Just to let you know if it's to loud you are too old. Give it a shot if you are interested in live music there's a party inside.Cheers.
I love big Al's and have been frequenting this place through the pandemic. However I strongly object to the cover charge on Friday and Saturday nights. A group of us go in for supper and object to paying a cover charge when it is just a jam. I understand when there is a booked event but not for just a jam. Looking for an alternative for our group of 6 for dinner as a result of this fee.
Good place to eat, Christine was a great server and friendly. Tuesday wing special hit the spot. Will come back when in the area.
