This was found by accident on our part and can’t believe how fabulous this place is. Well done!

This is a really cool place to enjoy a few drinks at as it a has a really cool vintage vibe to it, dark, quiet, jazz music playing, and more centered around who you are with, which is a really nice touch that the atmosphere creates. When you enter you have to pick up the phone and they ask for a password which they provide at the time of reservation (speakeasy vibes, a reminder of the prohibition times). Then the library shelf lookalike door opens and there are lots of accent chairs and old style couches placed throughout the area. It's worth going but I'm not sure it matches the hype. Definitely check them out as they have really great drinks. I definitely feel like the esthetics of their drink could be much much better to match the vibe of the place. Overall an interesting experience. Service was great as well. They do get busy so I highly recommend reserving ahead of time as they have a time limit of 1 hour if you don't have a reservation(at least that's what was mentioned to the group that arrived after us since they didn't have a reservation).

I think this is officially my favorite spot for a date night. The lighting is romantic, the music is smooth and jazzy, the furniture and decor take you back in time. There’s nothing more intimate than sitting on a vintage loveseat, sipping great cocktails, and spending time with some good people. Most of the cocktails are delicious — no weird tastes that are off-putting. Care and attention goes into making each drink. The servers are incredibly attentive, professional, and make you feel taken care of.I love that Betty Lou’s has house rules, too. It keeps the atmosphere feeling safe while still being a good time. This was my second time back and I plan on returning again when I’m in the mood for a chill, intimate evening. We actually had planned on spending our night at a different bar but we were unsatisfied and decided to return to Betty Lou’s, which did not disappoint.

This is a chill place. We came in after a fancy dinner and really enjoyed the furniture and being dressed up. Cocktails were on point. The experience of entering is unique and memorable. There were barely any people here on a late Sunday but that was acceptable. We had a group near us that were quite loud but we were happy that they left shortly after we arrived. Only reason it is not 5 stars is mostly our fault. We missed out on the live saxophone which more people likely would've been there for and would have added to the vibe. Book earlier than 10pm to avoid this

Atmosphere is amazing! This is the perfect date night spot. Or, if you're a fan of Jazz! Also, bring some money, no hoodies or baseball cops. Don't expect to socialize with anyone outside of your party. Don't expect a meal.

The experience at Betty Lou’s over promised and under delivered. Of course the decor is beautiful, and the entrance is unique, but otherwise I was disappointed. The food portions were small, and while they do advertise in their house rules that their artisan cocktails “take a while, please be patient”, it was a 30 minute wait for a first round.I felt the theme was going a bit too far when the exit goes through a filthy basement hallway with a dirty mop bucket and an electrical room.

Went for the burlesque show, had a blast!! Our waiter was very nice and very knowledgeable regarding all the drinks. Little did we know that at the end of the night he was actually the owner!!I respect any owner who gets out there and works just like his employees and doesn't let people know how he is.Much respect and will DEFINITELY be back!!!If you truly enjoy the finer things you must go to Betty's for an amazing drinking experience!!

I’ve had a decent experience here before. When the owner wasn’t present. I will say the idea is great. It is 2022, people are not as elegant. The owner of the business treated us with disrespect from the beginning. I booked my reservation a week in advanced because I was so excited to show my dad this place for his birthday. We arrived and they had little to no where for us to sit. We were right beside the live band that was hooked up to the sound system in this small place causing it to be way to loud. It was uncomfortably loud where you couldn’t hear the people right next to you and if you have been there before you know the seating is snug. We made a comment about how the music hooked up to surround sound was unnecessary and how we couldn’t hear each other and that insulted the owner and he immediately asked us to leave and gave us no choice.Maybe he was just having an off day but that was completely uncalled for and very rude.As the owner he should be showing his pride in a way where he wants to give his customers the best experience they can have.Thank you Blaine Armstrong for the worst experience I have ever had with my family and doing us a favour to know never to go back there again.

It is just one of a kind place to get drinks and appy, not cheap though

What can I say? How do I describe the absolute perfection that this experience was?I truly believe alot of these ideas and concepts in a bar can be very tacky, very poorly done. That is NOT the case with Betty Lou's Library. From the moment we arrived down the perfectly creaky staircase, to pick up this stunning antique phone to whisper our password, to see this bookcase open up and have this beautiful, welcoming server come to recieve us, we were stunned at how well this was done. Absolutely stunned. From the dimly lit, sexy, red ambiance, to the perfectly mis-matched antique furniture, the amazing live jazz and the gorgeous cocktail bar, the did not miss a single detail. I felt truly sent back in time to prohibition Era, a literal dream come true. The staff, the mixology, everyone was so incredible, true professionals in their line of work, and watching them coordinate, jump into different task, and staying sooooo busy while keeping the most wonderful sense of hospitality and friendliness towards us.I am humbled. Bravo you guys. Thank you for this experience, and I cannot wait to bring a group here in the very near future.
