The bagel was good, nothing insanely special but tasty; however, $4.50 to add cream cheese?Insanity, super expensive. I didn’t even get that much cream cheese, you could see the bread through it in parts since it was slathered thin. In my opinion not worth the $7 price tag.Interior is cozy, service was good, no complaints there. Worth noting their card machine doesn’t have tap.
Probably one of the worstbagels i have tried. And its overpriced. On top of that asian lady on the counter was very rude while i was ordering. There was loud music playing in this restro hence i could not hear her properly whn asked to repeat she rolled her eyes up and responded rudely at me that was ridiculous!!C’mon u were not giving me anything for free!!I was paying for it ,no need to be rude and grumpy.
This place was a wonderful surprise! Worth going out of your way for to discover the wonderful fresh bagels. The choice of type excellent - hard to decide which one! The cream cheese was delicious and again the choice of type suits even the fussiest palate! To top it all off the coffee is outstanding and the lovey owner made a special effort to get mine (very picky about the milk!) just right. Highly recommend, and now have several, made fresh bagels sitting in my freezer so I can enjoy at home too.
This place is a gem. It's been a while since I have been downtown due to Covid. I'm happy to see this place is still going :) the Bagels are amazing! The staff is friendly and the renos look great. I can't wait to go back.
Their bagels are different now compared to about a year ago. It looks same, smells same but it's chalky (not chewy) and bland. We bought a dozen with different flavors and were disappointed with their quality change
Sooo overpriced. I recognize that I’m not going to a Tim Hortons when coming here but seriously over $7 for just a bagel & cream cheese?! I got a bagel sandwich with egg, cheese and tomato and it costed $10 and had absolutely no flavour, and pretty sure they microwaved the egg which totally grosses me out. For $10 I’d expect some sort of sauce/flavour and a properly cooked egg..
Terrible customer service don't use real sugar in coffee would never go there again
Went to buy cream cheese got the 4oz one not realizing how small it is. I asked if I could get the 8oz one instead and just pay the difference and one of the ladies in the back made a fuss about it and said to just pay for another 4oz one. One 4oz of herb garlic cream cheese is $7.75 and one 8oz one is $10.75. You do the math... I insisted on just paying the $3.00 difference and it took them 15 minutes to figure out how to do that, it was quite a hassle for such a simple purchase.I want to support local, but... I'll support local somewhere else because that's not how you should treat customers.
For me, the customer experience is just as important as the quality of the food, and the the service just wasn’t there.
Tasty and filling bagels, but pretty pricey. I got the lotsa lux (salmon) bagel. Would’ve given 5 stars except the prices online (8.50) changed to 15.50 when I went in store. It’s a good bagel but I don’t think any kind of bagel is worth $15 or more, especially when the online menu says otherwise.
