Been here a couple of times now and really enjoy it. Have tried several German and Austrian beers as well as a few of the schnitzels. Was pleasantly surprised by their house made pretzels (with 3 different mustards) and their liver dumpling soup! The waitress was terrific, even tho serving a table of 10 (we kept her busy), but she never lost her smile!
We had milestone birthday gathering for a dozen people before Christmas 2021. They were amazing, food and service was spectacular. They let us personalize our celebration. With a lot of seniors, they took all covid precautions. Really exemplary and special! Wonderful memories were made at this family gathering in this venue with delicious food and wonderful service. If you're looking to try some authentic Austrian food and drinks this is the place to go! Two large dining rooms that you can book for gatherings or just do for a nice dinner. There's also a lounge below. The decor is relatively traditional. The only down side I would say is that there is not a while lot of budget for maintaining the place, the chair cushions are very compressed and not very comfortable, there is a significant amount of wear and tear to most things visible, but to be expected with a niche market.
We came on a whim today and they were having Maifest and raised the Maibaum! It was super cool to see everyone in traditional outfits and enjoying the sunny day.Inside we had great service, beer, and very tasty schnitzel. The ambiance was great.We will definitely come back!
What a great little gem of a place! So happy to have recently stumbled upon it. So hard to decide what to order, I don’t think there’s a bad choice. I ordered the rouladen, which was perfection, but can’t wait to go back to try something new. Love the retro ambiance as well!

They put on a nice Buffet, for a Celebration of Life, that I attended. Good, Central location, on a Hill overlooking downtown.
Haven't been here for years but was having an uncontrollable Schnitzel craving. Always awesome food and a casual relaxed atmosphere.
