Was just there with my kids for lunch. Menu has a lot of great options and the food was delicious. Restaurant looks a bit dated though, with not a lot of room in the dining area for big families. Overall - good food, great service, but felt a little tight .... we'll see if we come back. Might be odering "to go" instead, rather than dine in next time.
A few years back, I had left a negative review based on my experiences here at the time. Tonight, I had an experience that completely turned around my opinion of this location. I went in tonight by myself to have a quick dinner before heading out to an event. I was seated at the bar where I was taken care of by a very personable and professional young man who said he was also one of the managers. He was very helpful with any questions I had about the menu and was very attentive during my visit. He did his best to make me feel welcome and to encourage me to order whatever I was enticed to.Near the end of my meal, I found a hair on my plate, underneath the metal stand that the tacos were on. I wasn’t bothered by this because it wasn’t technically touching my food. When the bartender came to grab my plate, I showed him the hair and made it clear that I wasn’t looking for anything from it. I only wanted to let him know so that it could be caught in the future. He was extremely apologetic, and offered to buy me a dessert. When I finished, he told me that he covered the whole bill, which I really appreciated.I thought it was really important to take a look at this past review, and update it to reflect my most recent experience. The food I ordered was really good, everything came out quickly and I was treated very well the whole time I was in. Thank you.
Me and my daughter ate there for dinner. When we arrived, we were seated at one of the seats for two by the aisle(where you seat facing each other). Iasked if we can be seated on a both so we can sit together but we were told that none was available. I can see accross us that a couple of booths were open and the other occupied booths have just 2 people on them as well. When our server came. I asked if its possible to seat in a both and she was happy to move us to the one across our table.We had the ribs for myself and riblets for the lil one. The ribs were okay for me but my daughter didnt enjoy the riblet much and focused on her mac and cheese.We also had a chocolate lava dessert and it was a little too sweet but I think it was stiil good. Im probably not just a big chocolate person
We ordered through skip the dishes, Adam was very helpful on the phone as their debit machines were down. We are beyond happy with everything we ordered. The portion size is amazing and we even have left overs. Presentation for takeout was great. The containers are great and reusable! Highly recommend this restaurant. We can’t wait to order again soon. Amazing job Applebee’s!
Not busy. Seated right away. Service great. 100% better than last visit that we ended up leaving. Burgers great. Prices comparable. 55$ for 3 adults and one kid. Not fan of cesear salad or wrap but others liked and was decent. Kids meal huge. Too much for 4 yr old wld feed a 12 yr old for sure.
Love the food and the atmosphere here. Servers are awesome and so helpful. It's been awhile since I was here last but, it's one of those great go to places when you can. Stop in and enjoy.
Took my parents here for dinner and it was fantastic. The Applebee's in my home town (Red Deer) was closed many years ago.Our waitress was very attentive and great to deal with. The food was perfectly prepared.This is now our go to restaurant when my parents come to town.Thanks Applebee's for an outstanding experience.
I was there 2 weeks ago. And I wasn't really happy. However someone reached out to me and asked me to come back, so I did. I wasn't disappointed this time around. I had my meal free as well as the service was way better than before. The food was great as well. This time it seems busier it's back Friday! So everyone must be hungry from all the shopping! I'm pretty content. I will definitely go back!
Our first visit to any Applebee's actually and I was pleasantly surprised.Bartender in the lounge was incredible at her job balancing drinks for the girls, bar customers and the massive amount of takeout and skip the dishes orders. Our visit was on Friday November 26th in the early eveningOrganized, friendly and amazing service.Food was fast and hot and the beer was ice cold.We will be back
(November 11th in the evening) The hostess was not very welcoming at all, it felt like we were not valued (no proper greeting, we were just asked for how many and were seated with no comments) but other than that, our server was a delight! Very friendly… competent and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was very delicious, good portions for the pricing! My husband and I had a pleasant time in the end.
