We love Angel's. The interior reminds us of the older restaurants back in the day. Vinyl records and table jukeboxes. The staff is always friendly and even though very busy give you their full attention. The food is fantastic diner food. Curly fries and battered mushrooms. I try something new every time and never disappointed. My husband always gets the hot roast beef. You'll love the milkshakes and all the different flavours available. Eat in, take out or try the drive thru. I'm sure you'll find something that will be your new favorite!
Some of the best milkshakes I've had in the city, fantastic curly fries and burgers.My only complaint is that they close at 7pm most weekdays so it's harder to get to for dinner post work.
At first, I was going to write a bad review (they forgot items in our order). I took a bite of the food and my opinion changed fairly quick. The mac and cheese fried bites and poutine were delicious!! I wouldn’t recommend ordering any of their sandwiches off skip. Unfortunately it was extremely soggy. I’m sure they’re delicious fresh though!
The mushroom burger is good with lots of sauce and the onion rings are pretty good. So nice to see so many gluten free options here and will definitely be back.
Came here with a friend to try out their burger and sides. We ordered a Salisbury burger, small curly fries, and 3 mac & cheese bites to share. The house-made mushroom sauce in the burger was very delicious and filled with flavours. The sauteed onions added a nice touch. The burger patty was a bit on the thin side and not super juicy. Curly fries were crispy and nicely seasoned. Mac and cheese bites were ok with lots of cheese sauce. We received very good service from our server, who offered to cut our burger in half for easy sharing.The restaurant had a very unique decor, from the car on rooftop to the records on the ceiling. I would recommend everyone to come check it out at least once but come back more if you enjoy the food. They have lots of milkshake favours to choose from for a warmer day.
Food was underwhelming. Typical poor fast food and quite expensive. Went through the drive-thru and they handed me a tall dole whip ice cream and it literally fell over into my lap! There was no one behind us. Had to pick up the ice cream with my hands and toss it out in a bag we had in the car. It was a sticky mess and they offer no help whatsoever even though I felt it was their fault. No napkins…nothing. Good thing we had Kleenex in the car. After a few minutes, they closed their window and walked away. Brutal service. I’m all for supporting local but this place….Never again!
First time having Angel's after passing it many times, and I must say I am 100% impressed and satisfied! The mozzarella burger was big and packed with flavour, the curly fries were plentiful, and the Oreo shake was thick and delicious!I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, and will definitely be going back!
It was delicious. Everything I've heard was true. I had the deluxe burger and rings. Really good value as well
Food was amazing and the staff were friendly, helpful and kind. I was accidentally walking away with my fries and their red tray when one the staff member’s very politely reminded me she needed the tray back. When I went back to hand it to her, even without me asking she thoughtfully provided me a takeaway box in exchange. It is what I’ve come to expect of Angels. A place you must visit to experience the food and the hospitality.
Love the retro feel, The shakes rock!! Plus the burgers taste like a burger should. ? ??
