So me and my family went to Alumni sandwiches on The 28th and let me tell you. It was spectacular. One of the best sandwiches I have had in a LONG time. I had the Roasted Turkey & Brie and it was to die for. My husband and step dad had the Dagwood. They LOVED it.I recommend this place if your looking for a great sandwich shop.The only thing that I would say was not up to par was that the next day we went and go some more sandwiches but we ordered them online for pick up. They were very empty compared to the sit in ones we had. So if you go, go and sit in! Much better than ordering curb side. Still a 10/10 sandwich.
Excellent sandwiches, the hot chicken is really well done. If you're into spicy food, challenge yourself and get the full spice option! Fries are also super good.
Great sandwiches with good portion sizes! Add a retro diner feel with friendly, helpful staff, and you've got Alumni Sandwiches. The menu is great value and if you want to call ahead, you can get curbside pickup of your meal. Definitely worth a visit. Also, happy hour is 3-6pm with cheap beer and cocktails ($4-5)... Enjoy!

This place doesn’t have a single bad thing on the menu. Everything is delicious, well priced, and great portion sizes. I don’t think I could ever get fast food again knowing that this place is so close to home. I don’t know what they do with their brioche buns, but it tastes exactly like the diner burger bun you’d get on a road trip. SO GOOD!
We got the hot chicken sandwich with medium spice, the make up of the sandwich was great, juicy chicken, bun held up great, their coleslaw and pickles were great, but the there was no distinct flavour, it was just ‘hot’ with no flavour, it was more of a cayenne hot. I think I would like to try other hot chicken sandwiches but I wouldn’t be opposed to coming back bc the sandwich was decent.
A breath of fresh air. This quirky little place serves quality drinks and food for a very good price. The drinks were well done and their prices crush the competition. The fried mozzarella, the sandwiches and the apple pie were all amazing. The staff was nice and the bartender was very tentative. I highly recommend this as a great hangout spot and date night spot that doesn’t break the bank but provides a fun experience and good quality.
WOW this place was amazing. It was one of the best fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. So much flavour and very spicy ? . Also, got the macaroni salad was so good but small. I wish it was bigger size! Would highly recommend. It’s kid friendly place Street Parking available. Very affordable.
Checked it out to see what the hype was all about. Flavours were very good and crispy, parmesan fries were delicious and cheese generous. Definitely get the hot chicken half heat and the beef dip tasted good. My only complaint is that the chicken was like two chicken strips vs a full breast so left for a lot of bites that were just bun. Same with the beef dip, not a lot of meat on the bun and it was mostly concentrated in the middle. There actually wasn’t enough to really taste the beef. But the au jus was good and buns fresh. Definitely recommend trying it out but I’ll be checking out many of the other options in the city before going back.
