Ordered a beyond meat burger at 4 am ish. And they gave me a burger really quick. I always check my burgers before I eat them and they gave me a actual meat burger. I went back around and asked for a new one because this one smelt like meat and when I ripped a piece off it was obviously meat .they new burger they gave me looked very different and was probably undercooked. Recooked it at home just to be safe that I wouldn’t be sick tomorrow. They gave me a free apple pie though even though I tried to decline it.
Typical A & W fast food joint. I had never visited this one before and was surprised how well it was operated late at night. It was open 24/7 and the place was lit up real well including the parking lot. Bright and shiny!The food was fresh & tasty and really hit the spot at 1 am. I will definitely consider this location should I ever be hungry and looking for a late night meal.
I work nights and this place was good for awhile, now there's this miserable Asian man on nights that usually works alone and he messes my order up constantly and is very rude and charges me wrong amounts all the time. Very disappointing please get rid of this employee he is useless. To mess up someone's order and there is only me in line means he doesn't care. Nothing worse than a miserable human making your food.... I clarify my order with them and something else comes in the bag is considered rude.
What can I say ? Most have eaten here before and it really hasn't changed since I was a kid. I started going to Albert and Walter's when there was only one location on Macleod trail and they brought the food out to your car and left the tray on your halfway rolled down window.
Got the 56 buddy burger, uhhh not good, had the breakfast from this location too and my coffee tasted like cigarettes. Cold breakfast sandwich, with eggshells in the egg...........
Came here on a Monday morning around 2am, ordered a chubby chicken burger, poutine, root beer and a apple turnover. I was told that if I wanted a fresh apple turnover it would be a few minutes, I was not in a hurry and actually glad that I waited. Once I got my food everything was piping hot and absolutely delicious. This place has always been a winner for me and my family. Great job!!
It was awesome service at 10 am ish. The lady served me very quickly with 2 different coffee orders. The sidewalk and parking lot was clean.
Burger and fries were hot. Not sizzling off the grill hot though. Would rather wait a few more seconds and get it fresher.
Actually such a good A&W. go for the Buddy burgers and stay for the epic classic car meets on Fridays in the summer ??
So there is this Asian guy who works first thing in the morning around 7, literally messes every order up, from a missing burger, hashbrowns. Like aren’t Asian supposed to be smart.
