We had a celebration here at the lounge- positives first: the venue itself is so beautiful, airy, and welcoming. The lighting in the place is so nice for photos and so nice to have a private little balcony. The food was amazing! We got so many compliments afterwards on the food, and the chef was personally walking around making sure everyone was satisfied-so professional and above and beyond! Our night of coordinator Angie and the bartender Josh were both great! They were involved and made sure everyone was happy, and having a great time. Overall we are so happy with how our event here turned out.Major negative: olivia, whom I was communicating with starting back in February was so awful to deal with. She is the most unprofessional, incompetent person I’ve had to encounter, and she caused a lot of unnecessary stress while planning this event. From ignoring my emails, and questions, to then ignoring my phone calls, I cannot say how awful it was dealing with her. For the small event I planned, it should’ve all been signed and sealed a long time ago. But due to her lack of professionalism, I was emailing right up until the week before to ensure everything was proper. And even that wasn’t enough, because she did not pass ANYTHING along to the night of coordinator. So my sister arrived to the place before me, and had to work with the guests and the night of coordinator to get the place set up as to how I had asked and described months ago. Something as simple as having 6 tables out with 6 chairs (something Olivia asked me for to set up) was not done. Thankfully our event was amazing otherwise, but I wish that I would’ve dealt with anyone else other than Olivia. I found out they are removing her from events due to other poorly communicated events, so hopefully no one will have to deal with her ever again for their events.
Slowest wait staff ever, lunch took well over 2 hours. Forgot to give us menus, then no cutlery, no offers to refill coffee and finally the waitress wandered off right in the middle of us trying to pay. I diligently support the legion but this was by far the worst service ever. And it was not very busy so no excuse!
Was hoping for a great experience as received a few years ago. But it was not to be. Our server was great but no others followed in his footsteps! We ordered the Chicken brie sandwich, the hamburger and the Panako salmon sandwich. While the salmon was the only one that proved delicious. My friends were not impressed with the rest, not for the price. French fries were also tasteless.A very disappointing evening sorry to say.I feel more experienced staff needed.
I have been here twice now and the food and service were excellent. Love the dog friendly patio and especially love that any profits go to support our veterans! Please check it out and add your support.
Darcy was very accommodating toward our group. They have a great selection of beers and very good comfort food.Like some others, I can't believe--actually, yeah I can, because we live in a world of Karens these days--Hilda Duffield complaining because someone had a heart attack or a stroke or something while working.I propose we now call such a person a "Hilda." Or a "Duffield." Or a "Dumbfield."
Very disappointed in our eating experience there tonight. It took an hour and a half to get our meal and some of it was not hot. Our appetizer which was only french fries, took over an hour and they were not hot either. Apparently there was an Employee with a medical issue, however it seemed like there was plenty of staff to cover the amount of customers that were there. The prices here have also gone up and there is a new menu. There was no food on the happy hour menu either. We have tried really hard to support this restaurant but feel like it’s time to give up. To be fair to the chef, Most of the food was tasty when it finally arrived but portions a bit small for the price. It would have been quite appropriate to be compt a dessert or something but nothing was offered. Our waiter was pleasant but oblivious to the circumstances. Again, so disappointed.
I was here for a private party and it was a great venue for a medium sized event with live music. It is really bright, clean and new inside and the staff were attentive and friendly.
Have to give these guys a bad review. It took 20 minutes to get our first round of drinks. An hour and ten minutes for food. When the food arrived the potatoes were raw. Lucky we were having a good time with friends so the long wait times were tolerable. That is until our waitress dropped the bill off and immediately asked for payment (giving us no time to review it). She had added an 18% automatic gratuity and didn’t tell us. When I tipped another 18% on top of this, she still didn’t say anything. Instead, she snatched the receipt away so quickly it made me realize I double tipped and she didn’t want me realizing it. Really sad.
The atmosphere is decent. But I was disappointed that they have all kinds of interesting beers, and their beer flights are pre-set so you can’t choose ones you want to try. We go out for beer flights fairly often and this is the first place we’ve encountered that won’t let you choose your beers.
The service is always great! Despite being short staffed the girls always manage to pull through with great service and their kitchen does their best to get food on the table in a timely manner. Firecracker prawns are always a hit for us!!We understand how tough it must be being a smaller business during these times. It’s unfortunate to see some reviews on here that don’t understand the situation. Let’s be more kind, patient and understanding. Love supporting the legion! Will be back again.
