I sat outside in the patio, great view. Food was great, side salad was delicious! Server was friendly with the cutest glasses and big smile. Excellent service. I had a beef dip and it was steaming hot with juices running out, I had to ask for more napkins. Highly recommend!
This is by far the best restaurant we’ve tried since we moved to Alberta. The service is a 10/5, the food is 10/5 and the drinks is guess what ? Yes 10/5.
Absolutely amazing customer service from this location. There was a mistake with my order and the manager, Darren, went out of his way to make sure it was fixed. We will definitely be back!
Let's start with drinks. Ice tea was incredibly watered down. I could tell by the look on my husband's face during his first sip that something was off. I took a sip to see for myself. Gross. Diet coke.. No diet Pepsi. Had to add extra alcohol to white sangria as it lacked depth and flavor. The sauce on the shrimp hid the flavour of the shrimp and made it underwhelming. I won't return as the 30 min wait for food during a slow period was unacceptable.
June 2022 Food was really good, service average with quite a long wait. It's a family friendly place.
Went to watch the hockey game. Sat at the bar. Bartender was attentive and can pour like a boss! She’s impressive. My food came fast. Taste great ! (Spicy tuna )The other waitress were friendly and jovial. First time coming here and the ambiance was pleasant and seemed a bit upper scale. Anyway. I’ll be back ! Please get some organic wine. :)
Myself and 2 friends decided to go to State & Main for dinner. One friend had fish & chips and the other the beef dip. I had the noodle bowl. Both my friends said their meal was really good and my noodle bowl was fantastic.
Priscilla was a great server, friendly and efficient. Food was phenomenal for a pub. Salmon was excellent with mashed potatoes, I had French dip without onions, it was flavorful, and yummy. I had with broccolini. Yum. Drinks were good, gin and tonic cocktail could've been a touch sweeter, it was too sour. But good. Lots of T.V for sports. Definitely go back, want to try wings on Wednesday. Just really ? ? ?
My husband saw an ad for their mothers day brunch and that they donated $10 to a local charity if you made a reservation and he thought it sounded like a good idea. When we arrived and were given their regular lunch and dinner menu we asked where the brunch menu was. To our surprise they gave us a small feature menu with only 3 items on it, 2 kinds of eggs Benedict and a walnut banana pancake. No kids options for breakfast (on mothers day?), no eggs and toast or anything. Our kids were very disappointed to not be able to have breakfast foods like they were looking forward to.We tried the pancake and one of the eggs Benedict and they were bland and underwhelming. The pancakes were crunchy and dry and the eggs Benedict had one tissue paper thin shaving of ham. Definitely not worth the price, and don't advertise a feature brunch for mother's day only to have no options for kids and 3 total brunch items. We would never have booked if we'd known that would be the case.
The Airdrie State & Main has never disappointed us! Darun and his team are so accommodating…Whether it’s a large group for a celebration or our little fam for for a special occasion, like Mother’s Day today, they always do a great job navigating a busy restaurant, while providing an excellent experience. The chocolate covered strawberry was a nice touch today as well!
