You’ve heard the sayin “3 Strikes, Your Out”. Well we are done with KFC Airdrie. I ordered a 6piece bucket deal. I asked if it had at least one breast but of course they want to charge extra. Ok. Paid it. First they should call it Kentucky Fried Sparrow. Second I got the breast which must have sat in a warming tray for hours. They gave me 4 wings and a rib. Paid near $30 for this.

Stop selling old chicken and uncooked chicken. Gross

Honestly I grew up in a time where customer service was first priority, now it seems no one cares about the customer and everyone hates their job. What is the reason to phone ahead for a pick up if they don’t start the order until I arrive? They said that is how they do it! Then why have phone ahead orders? It’s ridiculous! I tried the Airdrie location a few times but I can’t anymore. When I order over the phone and they it’s going to be ready in 30 minutes then please! Have it ready! I do not want to stand there for another 15 waiting. The front girl is flat and uncaring and interrupts with yes ma’am yes ma’am but doesn’t listen to a damn thing I’m saying. No one cares anymore. Tim Hortons practically throws your stuff out the window while you drive by and the courtesy goodbye thank you is now “have a good one”. What the heck is that? Have a good what? I’m not your friend. They treat you like we are pals, have a good one! No! Why is everyone so informal now! Have a nice day! Sheesh! The customer service at KFC in Airdrie is lacking and if you say my order will be ready in 30 minutes than please! Have it ready!

I called in to tell them that they forgot 1 of our popcorn chicken in one of the combos we ordered, manager tells me he’s going to need to check the camera footage because he didn’t believe me! Over 1 small order of popcorn chicken! I couldn’t believe it. He was supposed to give me a call back and I haven’t heard a thing! Won’t be going back!

I will give this place a TWO, ONLY because the young manager was courteous and helpful. I was doing errand in Airdrie and realized it would be close to 10pm by the time I got back to Calgary. Thus, I decided to pick up KFC in Airdire. Both Google and the KFC website showed one Airdrie store closed, and the other open until 10pm. I ordered from this store which was supposed to be open. The order went 9:21pm and pickup was supposed to be in "10 minutes". I went to the store which was dark and closed. A sign on the door said it closed at 9pm. A poster said they delivered until 10pm. I checked my email and an email had come saying my order would be ready at 10:30am the NEXT DAY. Another customer arrived, he said he regularly came there and it was supposed to be open until 10pm. We knocked on the window and eventually the manager came out and said they were closed. I explained my situation and he had printed out the receipt of my order. He said if I just called the number and gave them the order number it would be no problem to cancel it online. The conversation was polite and friendly among all 3 of us, though we the customers were disappointed for good reason. I assumed this must have been a recent change in store hours. I thanked him and left. I called...and even though I wanted to drive home, I waited in the parking lot. After 15 minutes - which is a long time to wait to cancel an order of chicken - of hearing a blaring little tune played over and over, a woman came on. She was incomprehensible. She slurred her words together wildly, didn't seem to understand what I was saying, there were long pauses, when she asked me to give her my number and order number, it seemed as though she was having difficulty following them. She claimed that my number couldn't be found. With long unexplained pauses, she asked me for my name, she asked me for my address, she asked what region of Calgary I lived in... The manager came out to dump garbage....I ran over and asked for his help. He listened to her on speaker and was shocked as well. He tried to talk to her....most of the time their was no direct reply to what we said. Eventually he repeatedly told me to just drop the call and hangup. He agreed the woman sounded drunk or asleep, and told me he would deal with through their head office the next day, but that the refund would take several days. Assuming the refund comes, I'd give the manager a 10. The app is a zero. The phone support doesn't even warrant a zero. If I had not sat in the parking lot, and had the manager not been there, I would have had no recourse. It was incredibly annoying.

Over 2 and a half hours and still no food! Cannot get though to the restaurant after trying to call over 100 times! This is beyond ridiculous! We will never order from here again!

I do not recommend at all. I was told I would receive a gift card and I haven't received one yet and it's going on a month. This has completely turned me off of KFC.

Every once in a while we get a craving for KFC so the man picked some up on his way home from work. Now I remember that we said we would never eat there again after the last time. Nothing has changed. Rudest front counter worker ever and I'm pretty sure she gave us yesterday's chicken. Just keep repeating to yourself..."there is no KFC IN airdrie!"

KFC changed their recipe. Now I know KFC wasn't the healthiest food but it was a fun treat and their crispy skin and yummy gravy were great. The skin tastes different now, the chicken is a bit greasier than normal and the gravy tastes totally watered down with no flavor. We tried it a couple of times and the only consistent thing is that the flavor of this food has declined. Too bad, we won't be eating there again.
