A nice diner in Airdrie. Service was friendly and helpful. The food came out quickly. The burger was flavourful and so were the poutine and sticky toffee pudding. The have a nice selection of craft beer.
Abe's diner is a neat little diner in Airdrie a few blocks from where we live.On our wedding day, myself my wife and her family had breakfast there before we needed to start getting ready.In total we were a group of five, we all ordered different things and we were all very impressed by them.Would absolutely come back and would absolutely recommend.Normally I take pictures, but on that day I was just a bit too hungry to stop and take photos.
I was about to perform Stand Up Comedy at Fitzsimmons Brewery in Airdrie, but wanted a nice bite to eat before the performance/show. My wife looked for a locally owned non-chain restaurant and found Abe's. It was great. We were seated promptly, parking was free, and the selection of food was really great. But my whole family felt like eating Burgers. I had the Elk burger and it is easy to screw up that meat but it was fantastic. The Beef burgers were all delicious. The french fries were fresh cut ones and done just right. It was a great, simple meal and one we will repeat on a future visit to the bedroom community just north of Calgary
Such a cute space ~ definitely modern diner. Friendly, fun, efficient service. We each had a burger and they were both great. Loved that they are a decent price and a good size, but not too big. Fries were excellent as was the spinach salad. Food comes out hot and fresh. They have beers from the four local Airdrie craft breweries. Would definitely recommend. We will have to come back to try some of their other offerings.
Such a cute diner! Love the decor! Smaller then I thought it would be but the atmosphere and staff make up for that. The food is great and they have a dedicated Gluten free fryer!Definitely recommend!
I had a Chipotle chicken Caesar salad. It was delicious. Even came with naan bread ? Service was amazing! Super cute decor.
Classy restaurant! Worth the trip to Airdrie?. Family owned business with prompt friendly service. Menu is great top to bottom . Try the chilaquiles…….. they are the best I’ve ever had!
Today was our first time dining at Abe's and we were already talking about when we'd return half way through the meal. Our daughter had pancakes and the best milkshake we've ever had, and we had mains. It was all delicious, served in a reasonable amount of time by friendly staff. The only consideration is that there's not a tonne of seating and it's justifiably busy, so we had to wait a while to be seated- but worth it. We can't wait to try more from Abe's.
Bison burger was absolutely delicious, though a bit overcooked. The day we went, they had a carrot coconut curry soup as special. It was absolutely amazing, and we ended up taking some home for lunch the next day. One kid loved his burger, but the other had his food overcooked. He didn't want me to send it back as it was close to closing time and he was all about the delicious soup anyway.
We went here for brunch today and the food and service was absolutely amazing! We got the chicken breakfast poutine and cheesecake french toast, I recommend both! We have heard great things about this place and were not disappointed. We will definitely be coming back!
